Non-FM HP[edit]

Hey not logged in rn, but I checked some old vids to see and it seems the lower HP is only in the JP version of vanilla PS2 KH2 (the very first release). It seems that for both the bosses I've checked who claim to have lower HP on PS2 compared to FM, both had their HP buffed for the english PS2 release and only retain their lower unbuffed HP in the very first release in JP. This ended up being the case for hostile program too (I was the guy who pointed that out as well, just not logged in rn). It seems that the magma and blizzard lord also follow this trend. We should check any other bosses who are said to have lower HP in the PS2 version, because I reckon that almost all of them have their full FM hp on PS2 in english and only have the lower HP in the JP version since that seems to be the trend. 107.133.169.67 16:46, 20 January 2025 (UTC)

It seems you're right but that means that in all these cases both the Bradygames and Piggyback guide are wrong, very strange. --ShardofTruth 18:36, 20 January 2025 (UTC)
Logged in now, same guy you responded to, I'm assuming this means the Bradygames and Piggyback guide are both written off the JP version, which means there may be other slight differences between the JP and international versions of the non-FM PS2 KH2. The most obvious are HP values, but there could be other stuff. I'd start by checking any other bosses which had their HP tweaked between non-FM and FM since I reckon basically all the HP tweaks occured during one revision which seems to have taken place during the international PS2 release.
