Jump is a technique introduced in Kingdom Hearts. It allows the user to leap into the air.

Mechanics[edit]

In Kingdom Hearts, Jump is a default ability that can be used by pressing Circle (X in the Japanese version) while on the ground.

In Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories, Jump is a default ability that can be used by pressing B while on the ground. The longer the button is pressed, the higher and further the user will jump. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Jump can be used by pressing Circle (X in the Japanese version). Riku can jump higher than Sora's default Jump.

In Kingdom Hearts II, Jump is a default ability that can be used by pressing Circle (X in the Japanese version) while on the ground. The longer the button is pressed, the higher the user will jump.

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Jump is a default ability that can be used by pressing B while on the ground. The longer the button is pressed, the higher the user will jump.

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Jump is a default ability that can be used by pressing B while on the ground. The longer the button is pressed, the higher the user will jump. When the Auto-Jump (オートジャンプ Ōto Janpu?) setting in the Config menu is turned on, the user will automatically jump when walking towards a gap, or when walking against an obstacle that is high enough to jump on or hang on for 0.2 seconds.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Jump is a movement command that can be used by pressing Circle (X in the Japanese version) while on the ground. The longer the button is pressed, the higher the user will jump. Jump is equipped by default, and cannot be sold. Jump can be replaced with High Jump.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Jump is a movement command that can be used by pressing B while on the ground. The longer the button is pressed, the higher the user will jump.
