Shield Charge

Shield Charge (チャージガード, Chāji Gādo, lit. "Charge Guard") is an ability in Kingdom Hearts III. It allows the user to temporarily guard against attacks from all directions with their shield, with successful blocks charging the shield in two stages.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts III, Shield Charge is an action ability exclusive to the Counter Shield and Frying Pan Formchanges. It is activated by holding /. Any attacks that hit the shield will charge the shield in two different stages; the first stage's counterattack delivers a single blow to enemies, while the second's delivers a flurry of blows. Sora can move around slowly while guarding.
