Blackout is a technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to blind surrounding enemies to stop them from attacking.
Mechanics[edit]
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Blackout is an Advanced magic command that takes up one slot in the Command Deck, has a maximum level of 3 and a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 8%.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Blackout is a magic command that uses one slot in the Command Deck and has a reload time of 16 seconds. It grants +2 to Magic when attached to a Dream Eater recipe.
