Three friends seek to leave their island to explore other worlds. To do so, Sora, Riku, and Kairi construct a raft. The trio has almost completed their preparations. However, as night falls, an ominous darkness slowly approaches the island. Meanwhile, at Disney Castle, it is discovered that King Mickey has disappeared.
2 "Invaders" (侵すもの Okasu Mono?, lit. "Trespasser") 1 1 1
Sora is visited by a strange man in the Secret Place, until interrupted by Kairi. That night, a storm starts to brew, prompting Sora to return to the island to check on the group's raft. Once there, Sora instead finds Riku, enveloped in darkness.
3 "Light in the Hand" (手の中の光 Te no Naka no Hikari?, lit. "Light in Hand") 1 1 1
Riku and Sora are engulfed by the darkness. Sora is transported to the Secret Place, where he finds Kairi. The reunion is temporary, as Kairi suddenly vanishes. The mysterious voice from before reminds Sora that he wields the strongest weapon of all: the Keyblade. Back at Disney Castle, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket begin preparing for their search for the King and Keyblade wielder.
4 "A Giant Shadow" (巨大な影 Kyodaina Kage?) 1 1 1
Shortly after recieving the Keyblade, Sora encounters a Darkside Heartless. Sora defeats the giant Heartless with a single blow.
5 "Cast Ashore" (漂着 Hyōchaku?, lit. "Drifting Ashore") 1 1 1
The Destiny Islands are completely consumed by the darkness, transporting Sora to a new world. In Traverse Town, Goofy and Donald continue their search for the Keyblade master. Pluto, however, ventures off on his own, eventually finding Sora. In the distance Leon is shown, commenting on the new arrival.
6 "Traverse Town" (トラヴァースタウン Toravāsu Taun?) 1 1 1
Sora begins exploring the town, but is soon surrounded by a swarm of Shadows. Sora flees into a nearby shop, where he meets Cid. Cid informs Sora of the Heartless, and how this town is a home for refugees who have lost their worlds to the darkness. Cid encourages Sora to look for his friends here. As Sora leaves, he is confronted by Leon.
7 "The Man Called Leon" (レオンという男 Reon to Iu Otoko?, lit. "A Man Named Leon") 1 1 1
Leon knocks Sora out, taking him to the hotel. There, Sora meets Yuffie. Leon starts to explain the nature of the Heartless, only to be interrupted by an ambush. Sora winds up in the Third District, where he meets Donald and Goofy. Suddenly, a Guard Armor appears, but is soon defeated by the new trio. Afterwards, Donald eventually convinces Sora to join them in their search for the King. Hoping to find his own friends, Sora agrees.
8 "Plot" (陰謀 Inbō?, lit. "Conspiracy") 1 1 1
A group of villians is revealed to be monitoring the new Keyblade weilder. In Traverse Town, Sora is educated about the "World Order" and of a researcher who had filed a report on the Heartless. This report, scattered throughout the worlds, could be used in the mystery of the Heartless. Donald and Goofy conclude that this report is what the King is looking for. Meanwhile, Riku awakens in Hollow Bastion.
9 "Blast Off!" (出航 Shukkō?, lit. "Takeoff") 1 1 1
Donald, Goofy, and Sora leave Traverse Town on their Gummi Ship. After meeting Chip and Dale, and Jiminy Cricket, the trio arrives in Wonderland.
10 "Kangaroo Court" (おかしな裁判 Okashina Saiban?, lit. "Ridiculous Trial") 1 1 1
The group follows the White Rabbit to a courtyard, where they find a young girl, Alice, being held on trial. The judge, the Queen of Hearts, finds Alice guilty of attempting to steal the Queen's heart. Unable to watch the unfair ruling, Sora rushes forward, declaring Alice innocent.
11 "Find the Evidence!" (証拠をさがせ! Shōko o Sagase!?) 1 1 1
The Queen is outraged at the interruption. The group argues for Alice's release, but the Queen disapproves. Alice is locked in a cage, guranteed freedom only if the group can find evidence to prove otherwise. While looking in the Lotus Forest, the group meets the Cheshire Cat, who gives the trio a box. The group presents the box to the Queen. A Soldier Heartless pops out, revealing the true culprit. After defeating the Heartless the group lowers Alice's cage only to find it empty.
12 "Helping Hand" (助力 Joryoku?, lit. "Assistance") 1 1 1
Everyone, including the trio and the Queen's Card Soliders begin frantically searching for Alice. The truth is revealed by the Cheshire Cat, who states that Alice has been taken by the shadows. The trio is attacked by the Trickmaster. Sora learns his first magic spell: Blizzard.
13 "Keyhole" (鍵穴 Kagiana?) 1 1 1
The group defeats the Trickmaster, but are unable to find Alice. The group seals the world's Keyhole, earning an unfamiliar Gummi Block. Meanwhile, the same group of villians is shown, complaining of the new threat. Maleficent brushes their fears aside, claiming everything is coming together, revealing a shocked Alice.
14 "Sentimental Star Journey" (センチメンタルスタージャーニー Senchimentaru Sutā Jānī?) 2 1 1
Continuing their search for Riku and the King, Sora, Donald, and Goofy return to Traverse Town to talk with Leon. Upon arrival, Yuffie directs the trio to the Underground Waterway, where Leon is found training.
15 "The Chosen One" (選ばれし者 Erabareshi Mono?) 2 1 1
Leon explains that the Heartless are after the hearts of each world, using the unlocked Keyholes as the leading path. With the new goal of locking each world's Keyhole, Sora leaves to find Cid. Cid agrees to install the new navigational Gummi the group found. However, as part of the deal, the group must return an old book Cid fixed for a customer in the Third District.
16 "The Wizard's House" (魔法使いの家 Mahōtsukai no Ie?) 2 1 1
After arriving at the Mystical House, Sora sees an illusion of Kairi. This illusion fades, revealing the books owner, Merlin. Merlin claims that he was asked by the King to train Sora in the art of magic. Before leaving, the group is tasked with finding the book's missing torn pages. While walking through the Third District, Sora is ambushed by a Soldier Heartless, which tightly latches onto his back. The Heartless is defeated by a new figure, much to Sora's surprise.
17 "Reunion" (再会 Saikai?) 2 1 1
This new figure is actually Riku, who had also been looking for Sora and Kairi. Finally reunited, Sora invites Riku to join them in the search for their lost friends. This sparks a debate between Donald and Sora, allowing Riku to sneak away. As Sora wonders where Riku went, Maleficent and Riku are shown standing on a platform above the trio. Maleficent comments how Riku has been replaced by Donald and Goofy, and claims that she will help him in his search.
18 "Maleficent" (魔女マレフィセント Majo Marefisento?, lit. "The Witch Maleficent") 2 1 1
Although disappointed in Riku's disappearance, Sora is content knowing that he is okay. Yuffie then appears, taking the trio to a strategy meeting at the secret hideout. At the meeting, Leon asks if anyone has seen Maleficent, hearing that she has arrived in town. Sora does not know the name, prompting Yuffie to reveal the cause of destruction of their home world. Aerith comments that Maleficent is possibly gathering the scattered pages of Ansem's reports, a series of studies that could potentially reveal how to defeat the Heartless. Determined to find the report's pages, Sora, Donald, and Goofy leave for their next world.

In Agrabah, Jasmine is shown fleeing from a group of Heartless lead by Jafar.

19 "Agrabah" (アグラバー Agurabā?) 2 1 1
Jasmine hides behind one of the vendor's stalls, overhearing Maleficent and Jafar's conversation. Maleficent orders Jafar to find the Keyhole and the princess, as she is one of the seven hearts of pure light. Just as Abu alerts Jasmine of Aladdin being in trouble, Jasmine is captured by the Heartless.

In the desert, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are stuck in quicksand, with a lovestruck Aladdin distracted by thoughts of Jasmine. Eventually returning to the moment, Aladdin summons the Genie of the lamp to save the trio.

Bonus "Beyond the Door: Secret Place" (扉の向こう〜Secret place〜 Tobira no Mukō ~Secret place~?) 1 1
20 "The Genie of the Lamp" 2 2 1
After being rescued by Genie, Sora asks Aladdin why he is out in the middle of the desert. Aladdin explains how he was searching for legendary treasure in the Cave of Wonders, which is how he came to possess the magic lamp. Genie interrupts, reminding his new master of his remaining two wishes. Aladdin intends to use his second wish to become a wealthy prince so he can propose to Jasmine. Saving the wish for his return to Agrabah, Genie comments about his lack of freedom. This leads to Aladdin promising to use his final wish to free Genie.

Also in the desert is Abu riding the Magic Carpet, searching for Aladdin.

21 "Devil's Grin" 2 2 1
Abu quickly finds Aladdin, informing the group of Jasmine's kidnapping. As the group rushes to save her, Jafar moves Jasmine to the Cave of Wonders. Here, Jafar reveals his intentions of using the powers of the magic lamp and darkness to become Agrabah's ruler. The group soon arrives, only to fall directly into Jafar's trap. Now holding the magic lamp, Jafar surrounds the group with Heartless.
22 "The Price of Greed" 2 2 1
As the Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Aladdin fend off the Heartless, Jafar sneaks Jasmine away inside a Pot Spider. Before the group can attempt to save her, they are squashed by a Fat Bandit and fall through a hole in the ground. Now alone, Jafar uses his first wish to find the Keyhole. A few floors below, the group hurries up flights of stairs, following the path the lead by Sora's Keyblade. At the world's Keyhole, Jafar notes that alongside Genie, the two can rule the world together. Maleficent then appears, preparing to take Jasmine away. Before she can do so, the group arrives. Aladdin pleads Genie to save Jasmine, only to no avail. Maleficent leaves, taking Jasmine along with her. Jafar's second wish pits Genie against his friends. Although compliant, Genie's attempt is only halfway in effort. Angered at the lack of proper punishment, Jafar uses his final wish to become an all-powerful genie. While Jafar basks in his new-found power, Sora retrieves Jafar's lamp from Iago and successfully seals the villain away.
23 "The Last Wish" 2 2 1
After defeating Jafar, the trio discovers a page of Ansem's report. Genie takes Jafar's lamp and begins to bury it. Meanwhile, Sora locks Agrabah's Keyhole. Once the Keyhole is sealed, the cave begins to collapse. Sora, Goofy, and Donald jump onto the magic Carpet, while Aladdin refuses to leave, worried about Jasmine. After revealing Jasmine was taken to another world, Sora convinces Aladdin and Abu to join them on the magic Carpet. As the group makes their way towards the cave's exit, Goofy is thrown off of the Carpet, forcing Aladdin to use his second wish to save him.

Back at Aladdin's House, Donald scolds Sora for breaking the world order. Aladdin is not permitted to go with the trio, leading Genie to suggest using his final wish to find Jasmine. Aladdin uses his third wish for Genie's freedom. Promising to find Jasmine, Sora is given Genie's old lamp in case they need his help.

In Hollow Bastion, Maleficent checks on Riku.

24 "Olympus Coliseum" 2 2 1
Maleficent visits Riku, inviting the teen to join their group. Riku agrees, just as a sleeping Kairi is shown. In the hallway, Hades comments how Maleficent has been spending a lot of attention to Riku. Hades continues, suggesting that the witch is hiding something from the other members. Maleficent makes no comment, instead walking away.

Back on the Gummi Ship, Sora, Donald, and Goofy fax Cid the page of Ansem's report they found. Cid informs that group that certain people in various worlds have been kidnapped. After detailing their adventure in Agrabah, Cid signs off, instructing the group to keep sealing the Keyholes.

After landing on the new world, Jiminy informs the group of the fighting tournament held at the Coliseum. Ignoring Donald's words, Sora rushes inside, finding Phil. Phil, distracted with his work, mainly ignores Sora, ordering him to move the nearby pedestal. After several failed attempts, Sora declares that the pedestal is too heavy. Thinking Sora to be Hercules, Phil turns around. Phil refuses to permit the trio to participate in the games until they obtain an Entry Pass. Back outside, Hades gives Sora an Entry Pass. Phil accepts the Entry Pass and begins to train Sora, Donald, and Goofy.

Meanwhile, Cloud is shown alongside Hades. Hades orders Cloud to defeat not just Hercules, but Sora as well. As Cloud leaves, Cerberus is shown behind Hades.

25 "What It Means To Be a Hero" 2 2 1
Sora, Donald, and Goofy continue their training under Phil. Phil reveals that in order to truly become a hero, one must also have a strong heart. Hercules then appears, commenting on the large number of new participants for the games.

Back in the Underworld, Hades reveals that after the demise of Sora and Hercules, he will use the Keyblade to free the Titans and become the ruler of the world. The trio successfully climb their way up the game's ranks, eventually leading to the semi-final match against Cloud. The fight is interrupted by Cerberus, forcing everyone to flee. Back inside the Vestibule, Phil and the others wait. After hearing a scream, Sora rushes back inside the arena to help Hercules. Sending Hercules away, the group prepares to face Cerberus.

Extra "Kingdom Bites" 2 2 1
In the first slide series, Sora calls upon Genie for help on opening a jar of food. In the second and fourth set, Aerith offers Leon lemonade and soda mixed with other flavors. In the third group, Cid accidentally sleeps for eighteen hours. In the fifth and final set, Hades humorously alters a Hercules action figure.
