The Darkness in Dark Road is not one of the thirteen "true Darknesses"[edit]
To quote the possessed Baldr directly: "You think I'm true darkness, but you're wrong... I'm not the ancient darkness you suspect." It can't get much more explicit than that. (The Darkness that possessed Baldr was born from the hearts of those around him, the shadows that those pure lights cast, and was cultured in Baldr's unusually sensitive heart.
