Enemy Card
Enemy Cards (エネミーカード Enemī Kādo ) are a type of Card in Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories. Enemy Cards have black borders, and provide temporary passive effects. Each enemy has an Enemy Card. Sora has a chance of obtaining the Enemy Card of the last enemy defeated in battle. Bosses always reward their Enemy Card when defeated for the final time, with the exception of Marluxia, whose Enemy Card is obtained after the first battle, and Vexen, Riku Replica, and Ansem, Seeker of Darkness in Reverse/Rebirth, whose Enemy Cards are not available for Riku. Enemy Cards have to be placed in the deck like other Cards, but are separated in battle. Riku has access to a different Enemy Card in each world, although he can keep any Enemy Cards obtained from bosses.
In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, the effects of the Darkball and Ansem Enemy Cards are changed due to the removal of Link Mode. As such, the Darkball Card becomes unavailable for Sora. Due to the addition of a battle with Zexion, his Enemy Card is added for both Sora and Riku. Seven additional Enemy Cards based on the remaining members of Organization XIII are available for Sora as an extra Room of Rewards reward for having a completed Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix save file for the Japanese version, after completing the game for the North American version, or for completing Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX version. Two Special Cards are available after collecting all other Cards. They function like regular Enemy Cards, but have powerful abilities.
All Heartless and some bosses use their Enemy Cards to attack. With the exception of Marluxia's Second and Third Forms, they cannot form Sleights. Certain bosses that use regular Cards to attack have access to Enemy Cards with the same or similar effects as when used by Sora or Riku.
