The Scimitar, named Sword in Kingdom Hearts, is Aladdin's weapon throughout the Kingdom Hearts series. Bandit Heartless wield a similar weapon.

Design

The Scimitar has a basic design similar to that of an Arabian scimitar. Its hilt is gold, the cross-guard is slanted, and the pommel is a simple sphere. The blade itself is thick—much thicker than a normal scimitar blade. The blade is colored silver, and it is curved.

Origin

In Aladdin, Jafar casts a line of scimitars lodged in the ground to keep Aladdin from Genie's lamp. Aladdin then picks one up to fight Jafar, who had transformed into a giant snake.
