Talk:Yozora
Composite character[edit]
This is something I just noticed while wasting time on TVTropes (that place sucks, but that's another discussion lol), and I saw the obvious Composite Character trope applied to Yozora: Noctis and Ravus. Blah blah blah. But something interesting that I realized is that Yozora himself appears to be an in-universe composite character. As in, he appears to be intentionally cobbled together from bits of other KH characters to some significant fashion. To effect:
- Sora: Yozora's the hero, his outfit is very similar to Sora's, and he's out to save his perpetual damsel in distress with his two erstwhile companions.
- Riku: Obviously, Yozora looks almost exactly like Riku.
- Roxas: Yozora dual wields his weapons.
- The Master: Yozora's one blue eye is rather evocative of the Gazing Eye. Bonus points for being almost exactly the same shade of blue too.
- Xigbar/Luxu: Yozora wields an energy-projectile crossbow.
Food for thought. It may be worth pointing out on Yozora's actual page, though maybe not as well. On one side, the similarities and traits are rather brazenly obvious and striking. On the other, whether it's intentional or not is entirely speculation... So, what do you guys think? --Samoa Joe (talk) 11:47, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's definitely speculation. It's already said in the game that he looks like Sora and Riku, but the others are a bit of a stretch, in my opinion. TheSilentHero 15:37, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Secret Ending in Re:Mind[edit]
I was wondering for the pages on both Sora and Yozora, should we treat the ending where Sora wins as canon and the one where he loses as non-canon? Because we dont really know how the story will progress so I think its a bit rash to label one ending as canon.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Keybladefan0204 (talk • contribs)
- Both should be treated as canon; we don't have any confirmation which is which, not helped by the fact that the theater mode treats them as two parts of a whole. There's also the fact that the whole thing appears to be Yozora's dream - so both endings could be canon, or neither. Until we get official confirmation, we should simply classify them as "Sora wins" and "Sora loses." --Samoa Joe (talk) 03:13, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
Isn't this similar to the alternate cutscenes in the original game? --Yellowlightning1996 (talk) 04:14, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
- If that's the case, then why does the page say that Sora winning is the canon scene and Sora losing is a non-canon scene? Also, I know this isn't really a confirmation, but in my opinion, Melody of Memory makes it more likely that Sora losing is canon, not him winning. Otherwise, why would he be on the other side?192.208.160.196 00:42, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
Can you guys not use the Spoiler templates on the talk pages? That's not how they're used. Also, if you're adding to an ongoing discussion, do not just squeeze your post in the middle, when there is already a comment from the preceding one.--NinjaSheik 02:25, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- I can understand where you're coming from, but the reason I put my edit where I put it is because I was responding to what Samoa Joe had said, while what Yellowlightning1996 said seemed to be a somewhat separate thing and it wasn't relevant to what I was saying. I'll leave my comment where it currently is, but the stuff I had inside the spoiler template was a part of what I was saying in response to Samoa Joe, not a separate thing. I put the signature before the spoiler template because it was the spoiler template. 192.208.160.196 05:05, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
