The Royal Crown is an accessory found in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. Attempting to reach the crown as Black Heartless "Ant-like" creature will be a waste of time as the chest requires the Gravity Spell.
Perhaps there is a puzzle about equiping characters with items; If Beast gets this item he is a true king correct?
