The Cupid's Arrow is a pair of Arrowguns that can be wielded by Xigbar in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Cupid's Arrow+.

Design

The body of a Cupid's Arrow Arrowgun is thin and silver. A thin arc-shaped extension is connected to the weapon near the base of its barrel. This arc's back edge is light grey, its front edge is dark grey, and both edges are lined by spikes. The barrel is a wide, green arrowhead. The handle is light grey, and the guard is black and lined by six grey diamonds with black edges. The bullets are blue and the diamonds flash this color when Xigbar reloads. The bullets produce blue sparks on contact with enemies and gold ones on contact with anything else.

The Roman god of erotic love and desire, Cupid, used arrows to instill his victims with love for a designated target.

Gameplay

In his basic ground combo, Xigbar combines his Arrowguns into a sniper rifle and fires three shots in a wide arc, and can do so four consecutive times. By pressing Y at any point during the combo, Xigbar can be made to backflip and fire six shots around him wildly. Xigbar's aerial combo consists of this same upside-down move, but ends with him firing two shots straight down.
