Origin

Webby first appeared in Disney's television series DuckTales, voiced by Russi Taylor. The granddaughter of Scrooge McDuck's housekeeper Bentina Beakley, Webby seeks to be accepted by Huey, Dewey, and Louie, who often disapprove of her joining in on their adventures, and often accompanies the nephews and Scrooge on their journies. Her love of animals proves to be her most powerful asset to the group, allowing her to befriend all creatures around the world and making temporary allies.

Webby also appears in the show's reboot, voiced by actor and singer Kate Micucci. This incarnation of Webby is portrayed as an exuberant and fierce duckling, having been raised by Beakley to be an adventurer and fighter.
