The KHWiki-verse will turn 10 years old next year! That’s right, we’ve been around for almost 10 years. The Wiki was founded on April 1st, 2006, so our tenth anniversary is April 1st, 2016. So, we should celebrate! So, this forum will be host to the many ideas that we may have. If it works out, we could probably do more than just one!

Ideas

/KHWV/ sings "Simple and Clean"

The idea would be to mock something like /a/ sings. /a/ Sings is a reddit board that comes together and sings anime openings every so often. Example! (ignore the first 20 seconds) So, I thought we could get a few people to come together and sing Simple and Clean. You don't have to be good, this is supposed to be a thing where everyone sucks at singing so we all come together and embarrass ourselves as a team! Chainoffire 05:07, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

Time Travel to the Past!

This was brought up by KSM right before he left. "The only idea I was thinking we should/could have is to rehash our old themes (backgrounds) with our old logos, but the logos sporting a nice 10th Anniversary banner. I kind of expanded on this and tried to make the whole front page of The Keyhole into a flashback here. So maybe we could do that with the KHWiki front page as well? Chainoffire 05:07, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

I wouldn't mind doing that. It's not very visually appealing, but I suppose that's the point- to show what it was in 2006 and how much we've improved since. Since the wiki's birthday is April 1st, would the anniversary celebrations be happening on that week or for Jan 1st? TheFifteenthMember 10:13, 5 September 2015 (UTC)

KHWikiverse: A history

Inspired by this, I've been wanting our own KHWiki:History page for a long time and what better incentive to write one than our 10th anniversary? This will require digging into ancient edit history especially for the first few years, but the few really old users can help out. Maybe we could contact inactive users from the past to piece together the information?

Perhaps we could. I'm not sure how active Bluerfn, Ultima the High Seraph and the lot will be, but it'll be nice to hear from them again. I can piece bit by bit from 2008 to 2011, and this year. There are some usernames I can draw. However, it would be advisable to contact them on the Keyhole, rather than here (because chances are, they wouldn't have signed up). Depends. I think the /a/ and art collab could be featured in a special 10th anniversary celebration page fourteen in the magazine set to release in April 1st (our birthday). The logo/skin/main page could be retro for that week. TheFifteenthMember 16:27, 5 September 2015 (UTC)
