Two major items about KHII magic need to be covered:
- The fact that they can be incorporated into attack combos
- Related: Magic used as a finisher differs slightly from normal
- Related: What are the exceptions?
- Drive Forms affect the execution of magic (e.g. appearance, range)
- Related: Also affects magic finishers (e.g. I think Final Form has the Fire finisher generate a large circle of burning spheres)
These need to be detailed on the main Magic article, as well as the individual magic pages (esp. spell-specific variations), but someone needs to see what the variations actually are.
Normal Finishers
- For Fire, Blizzard and Thunder, just more powerful.
- For Reflect, it generates another barrier after the pre-finishers' burst. (And more powerful?)
- No finishers for Cure and Magnet.
Wisdom Form
- Fire: Slides forward while casting. Finisher increases AoE.
- Blizzard: Finisher launches five shards of ice that home on the enemy.
- Thunder: Finisher drops four lightning bolts in triangle-and-center formation.
- Others are normal.
Master Form (no finisher)
- Fire: Slides forward. Increases AoE.
- Blizzard: Launches six shards of ice in a vertical hexagon formation.
- Thunder: Drops four lightning bolts in a straight line.
- Others are normal.
