Rapid Thruster
Rapid Thruster is a type of Heartless from Kingdom Hearts II. They are small airborne Heartless that normally appear in groups.
Journal Entry
It attacks in a group, so be ready to attack with reaction commands. Start with Speed Trap, followed by the wide Aero Blade attack.
It chases its target with determination when counterattacking. Run!
Attacks
Rapid Thrusters never appear alone. They are always accompanied by other Rapid Thrusters, be it two or three or one hundred. In certain areas, they appear in large groups, swarming around the area. They are relatively weak Heartless, that attack separately, which is an advantage. There attacks are:
- Head-jab: A small jab of the Rapid Thruster's head that does barely any damage.
- Swirling swarm: Four or five Rapid Thrusters attack Sora simultaneously, twirling around in a spiral. Each hit does a little damage.
Trivia
- Rapid Thrusters make up a great percentage of Shan-Yu's army in The Land of Dragons.
- While fighting Riku at The Land of Dragons, a large group of Rapid Thrusters hover above the battleground of the boss battle.
- A large number of these Heartless appear atop Pride Lands. In Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+, they are replaced by a single, powerful Heartless.
