Well, this is it I suppose. I suppose that we have all been waiting for this to happen sooner or later. I suppose we came to the conclusion that it has become inevitable. I suppose that, despite how things may have seemed about two years ago, this is finally happened. I suppose it may seem as though this was about to happen. But oh, I supposed wrong.

Almost three years ago, I decided to play a game. No, not that kind of game you are thinking of. Not Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, or some kind of preposterous meteor-flinging, universe-creating game named after a city district. That would have been incredibly silly. No, I chose instead to join this wiki, back when we were on Wikia. Yes, it has almost been a year since we claimed independence. I am very happy to have been a part of that, by the way, it will be one of my greatest memories I am going to take from this whole experience. And now, here we are.

Yes, this is it. I feel like in my current state of living that consists heavily of college courses, musical performance, tiny grasps at a social life, and little free time, I can no longer serve as an "active" staff member. An active staff member should be someone who is always available for assistance to the wiki, and I believe should embody the growth of the wiki by contributing to that goal. However, I simply no longer have the time to devote myself to this wiki as I once did. Trust me, I remember the times when I would rack up hundreds of edits in a single day. Those were the days, right? Sadly, those times have passed, right into the Furthest Ring.
I can honestly say, however, that I will be eternally thankful for the experiences I have had while a member of this wiki. I got to be exposed to the workings of a political side of this wiki. I learned of the ethics we all share about cooperation, teamwork, and work potential. The skills and respects I have gained by being a working, active member of this wiki for almost three years will forever stay with me. I will never forget the great people I have met here, either. I could make a huge list of all of the names, but that would just be incredibly silly. There are so many of you, it would just be a giant, windy thing of a gigantic composition. But still: all the names. All of them.
Thank you so, so much guys, for everything. We have had our ups and our downs, moreso with some users than others. I love this wiki, its mission, and every single editor I have had the pleasure of working with, ever since February 6, 2009. That date seems almost archaic now, how incredibly silly. Do not worry though, it is not like I am being SCRATCHED out of involvement with this wiki. I will still be on #KHWiki-noticeboard and will do my very best to uphold both IRC Channels, which I have been monitoring through my fourth wall. You can also always ping me at "DoorToNothing" should you ever need anything. While it may seem easy to contact me, though, it is no reason for me to stay active; I simply cannot respond, I fear, with the agility and knowledge of the wiki that I once had.
And now, this is it. Time to close the door, but not some white door that floats over a dark ocean or a similar passage that appears on a floating gray island. No, this is the DoorToNothing. Be it open or closed, may we always remember what lay beyond it:
