TheFifteenthMember Yes. You're creepy. I can't say we'll miss you while you're gone, so it'd be best if you did go. We all win that way. TheFifteenthMember 17:55, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
While playing KHHD, I noticed something in Re:COM. The field has been dramatically changed from the original COM so it includes props that leak effects into the battle arenas. Examples I've seen of this are:
  • Striking an enemy in the field deals a small amount of damage to all starting enemies (like a weaker effect of the Strong Initiative map card). Throwing explosive barrels on them in the field increases that damage.
  • Some props hurt you and inflict negative status effects.
  • I found something particularly interesting in Monstro. In a Teeming Darkness room, I found a clock that Stops nearby enemies if you strike it. This Stop effect doesn't just let you attack them from behind to get an easy preemptive strike. The Stop effect continues when the battles starts, letting you have a headstart for a few seconds.

These props should be listed on the Props page but I wonder if the world you're at determines what props are available. Some are seasoned for that world (like Halloween Town's fountain gargoyle that spits acid) so those are obvious that they won't appear anywhere else. But some, like the clock I mentioned, have no particular attachment to one specific world so it's possible that you can find them in all worlds. I also have a feeling that we need to experiment with different map cards too since I think certain props only appear in certain rooms. On the Re:COM page, I think we need to mention about these props under "Mechanical Changes".

Slightly unrelated: Have we covered the original game's "Link Mode"? Nothing comes up when I search it. I doubt there's much info on it anyway so I think it should get a sub-section and redirect under "Gameplay", on the COM page.
