Can we move this to "List of Synthesis Materials" to better differentiate it from the product list?Glorious CHAOS! 19:20, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Because of the especially complex obtainment conditions in Days and BbS, I don't think it's appropriate to have the tables here anymore. They give a strikingly inaccurate impression of how to get each type of material, given the increased requirements of getting drops, and the increase of avenues other than drops. I think the two prose sections should be saved and slightly reworded, and the whole thing merged with Item synthesis. Regarding KHFM

Every synthesis item gets an rarity rating (レア度), that is usualy ★☆☆☆☆ for shards, ★★☆☆☆ for gems, ★★★☆☆ for crystals and ★★★★☆ for stones. Yes, the stones are considerd rarer than crystals and also listed after them (if available). Mystery Power is ★★★★★, Gale is ★★★★☆, Gale Stone is ★★★★★, Mythril Shard is ★★☆☆☆, Mythril is ★★★☆☆, Mythril Stone is ★★★★☆, Orichalcum is ★★★★☆ and Dark Matter is ★★★★★.
I'm also wondering if SE will rename Mystery Goo to Mystery Stone in KHHD or if they will be consistent with the goo translation for every stone (maybe they will ignore the issue altogether). ShardofTruth 15:40, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
