High Jump

Jump to navigationJump to search

High Jump (ハイジャンプ Hai Janpu?) is an ability which appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to jump higher than normal, usually incorporating a backflip into the jump. In games that allow it to be leveled up, doing so increases the height of the jump.

Mechanics

Kingdom Hearts

In Kingdom Hearts, High Jump is a Shared Ability and therefore can be equipped to the party at any time at no cost.

Kingdom Hearts II

In Kingdom Hearts II, it is a Growth Ability learned and upgraded by leveling up Valor Form. Outside of Valor Form, it costs 2 AP to equip and can reach up to level 3, while in Valor Form, it is automatically equipped and can reach MAX level.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, it is an Ability Panel, which can be leveled up from High Jump LV1 to High Jump LV2 and High Jump LV3 by linking High Jump LV+ Ⓛ (ジャンプアップⓁ Janpu Appu Ⓛ?, lit. "Jump Up Ⓛ") panels.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep it is a Movement Command which can be leveled up to level 4 by defeating enemies.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded it appears as a Bonus Booster which must be linked to a CPU using chips in the Stat Matrix.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, it is a movement command that allows the user to jump higher than normal by pressing B.
