Hey guys, this is CAF. Recently my dad banned me from editing this wiki because of extremely iffy content and language on the IRC channel. Unless you can clean it up, this will be my last edit here. You guys seem to be forgetting that younger people come on there too. Thank you, and enjoy your day.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm really inexperienced with the IRC channel but I thought we had some kind of self operating mod (a bot I think) which works as profanity filter. Maybe some IRC mod would be so kind to shed some light on these issues, thanks.

Sove Talk to Me! — "I dunno. I can't... just look inside. But I figure... If there is something in there - inside us - then we'd feel it, wouldn't we?" "No one would miss me." — 13:47, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

We used to have, but that bot disappeared with its operator, Adola. It's impossible to make any kind of profanity filter anyway. While it is possible to take action against those who swear excessively, those messages cannot be removed from the channel and the only solution for users is to use the /clear command. So if CAF is one swear word away from getting permanently banned by her dad, there is literally nothing we can do, IRC simply does not have any automatic word censoring.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't we actually have a policy against swearing in the IRC? Or was that just with regards to name calling? Or am I completely insane?
