I cropped (not that grand considering I don't have a "good" image editor) some of the images we did not have. However, before uploading them to the wiki I uploaded them through ImageShack. Note: some of the image sizes might be small; not sure why since they look fine on my image slideshow. Either way, if they're needed upload them to the wiki, if not, ignore them.

Again, the quality might not be grand since I'm using a mixture of print screening, editing with paint, cropping with Picasa2. If someone with Photobucket (or GIMP) can upload a better quality, by all means do so. If needed, upload to wiki, if not, ignore them. Thanks!--Xion4ever 02:28, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- I have GIMP, so I can clean up the images provided they are in a reasonably large size (like what I did for the Sazh and Vanille icons, as well as the recent KHM images I uploaded). BebopKate and Dan have GIMP ; LegoAlchemist, Xiggie and Ataradesu have Photoshop (but the latter two are not active), so I think we have quite a number of people whom I can enlist for help in cleaning up the images. Thoughts ? TROISNYX AMDG 08:19, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
I have both GIMP and Photoshop, but I'm more experienced with Photoshop. I can clean up / crop images if you'd like me to, but I'm not too sure about how to get rid of the sample boxes. I can get to cropping right away, which images should I start with? Dan - Don't Blink! ♫ 08:24, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll start on the hairstyles, is that okay? Dan - Don't Blink! ♫ 08:48, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Hairstyles
- The first few are done: =D
(We already have Axel and Demyx). Dan - Don't Blink! ♫ 10:07, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Suhweet ! :D Thanks ! Now, what next ? Shall I proceed with the items or clothes ? Which will you decide on doing ? TROISNYX AMDG 12:20, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- I'll continue with hairstyles, if that's okay =) Dan - Don't Blink! ♫ 12:35, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
Wow, those are nicely done, Dan. Thanks for helping us out! ^_^ BebopKate 19:43, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't quite remember, but can't you just white out the background using Paint?Glorious CHAOS! 20:31, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry, but I can't read Japanese, and seeing as it's an image, not text, I have no way of translating it... Were the names I gave the images I uploaded wrong? Dan - Don't Blink! ♫ 20:41, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
- I also have Adobe Photoshop, and I would be happy to use it for something beneficial. I can do anything, so just let me know what needs to be cut out.
- KrytenKoro: While it can be done, Paint is really a low-quality image editor. Also the background can be whited out, though transparent background as preferred for these types of images. These images can be used to assemble a character, and are much easier to work with when they can be layed over a lower layer without a background getting in the way. Plus, it does not create an unwanted white space behind the actual subject in galleries, or over a colored background. --DTN 07:05, April 19, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, I have Jasc Paint Shop. Much more functional than Paint (yay layers!), and less functional but more affordable than Photoshop. ^_^ And seconding what DTN said about Paint being crap with transparencies (unless you use it in conjunction with GIMP, which can be a huge pain). - Tip which I used for the Moogle dolls : If all else fails, and the background isn't white and you're trying to make it transparent, crop accordingly and set the background to transparent on PowerPoint. Then save the pic as PNG. That's the easiest strategy so far, and the one I used before using GIMP. TROISNYX AMDG 08:28, April 20, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, no responses so far. I'll continue with the objects then. TROISNYX AMDG 01:51, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
