to me saix's berserk form seems werewolf-ish with the messed up hair and the article says he growls and roars and the moon attribute.

From my perspective? No. The Kingdom Hearts of people's Hearts isn't an actual moon, for one thing, and there are several more allusions that Sa�x's berserk state has - ones which are far more interesting and hold better grounding (in my opinion). Take a look at his Trivia. Furthermore he never struck me as "snarling", "growling", or "roaring" during battle. Seemed more like just shouting in rage.
Personally, I see the berserk state more in the sense of a Japanese oni, which I would include in the trivia bit if it wasn't already so large.

Now that we're in the right place... Even if Saïx's attribute is "moon", that Kingdom Hearts isn't an actual moon like the moon, and still doesn't automatically mean he is a werewolf. I recognize the similarities between absorbing power from a moon-like object and using it to attack, and werewolves, but personally don't see him in this light. As for what the article says, that section was written by an anonymous person who heard his battle cries and felt them best described in such a manner. It wasn't written by Nomura himself, and like the moon attribute, doesn't automatically dictate that "this means Saïx is a werewolf". Difference of opinion; it's all up to how you want to interpret things.
