Zack appears as a boss in both Aqua and Terra's storyline, fought at the Olympus Coliseum. In Terra's story, he fights Zack twice, once when Zack wears his helmet, and then again to free him from the darkness, which was caused by Hades in order for Terra to use the power of darkness. In Aqua's story, she fights him as the final opponent in the coliseum's tournament.
Strategy
As Terra
1st Battle:
Zack is a mildly easy opponent. His moveset consists of jumping and stabbing the ground with his sword, a regular combo and a beam wave. These can all easily be dodged, so dodge, guard and attack and Zack should fall with ease.
2nd Battle
Zack is now under Hades control using the power of Darkness and is much more difficult. He retains his same moves along with a two new ones. One new attack (and he always opens the fight with it) is a dangerous high-speed teleporting slash combo. which can be dodged with Quick Runs. His other move involves a Meteor attack but the method of defeating him is the same.
As Aqua
Zack has the same moves as he did in his 1st battle with Terra, but the fight should be easier with Aqua's Reflect Breaker.
