I haven't quite got the fine points down, like...when, or where... It just kinda kicks in whenever it wants to.

Template:World Box Deep Space (ディープスペース Dīpu Supēsu?) is a world from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It is based on the Lilo & Stitch films, specifically on the intergalactic portions. It is the most recent Disney animated feature to be incorporated into the Kingdom Hearts series, and the second-most recent feature overall (after Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl). According to recent scans, Terra, Aqua, and Ventus will each visit the world, encountering the troublesome Stitch AKA Experiment 626 in his true extraterrestrial form. However, Aqua may have a more important role, as she engages Captain Gantu in a Boss battle on this world. Stitch also appears in this battle, recently confirmed as a party member in a recent scan of the battle.

Even more recently, however, Dr. Jumba and Experiment 221 have been confirmed to appear. Jumba's role is thought to be similar to that in the movie, explaining the creation of Experiment 626 before his arrest. As for 221, there is no word yet on this extraterrestrial's role whatsoever. All that is known is that he battles Terra with his electrical abilities at one point.

Trivia

  • Wonderland and Deep Space are the only Disney-based worlds that are not set on "Earth". Halloween Town may or may not actually take place on Earth because in the movie The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack is seen to visit the people of Earth and is attacked by the U.S. Army. However there isn't enough information to draw a definite conclusion on where it actually takes place.
  • Deep Space is now the only Disney-based world that is not based on the main setting of its film. The main setting would be Hawaii, which does actually appear in Stitch's summon sequence in Kingdom Hearts II. Neverland was once a case like this until 358/2 Days, in which parts of the Island itself are explorable.
