Status effect
Status Effects are ailements inflicting Sora and other characters. And sometimes even enemies. Status effects vary from being caused by magic or being caused by Sleights.
Magic Caused Status Effects
Stop- Stop is caused by Stop magic, this causes the enemy to freeze in time for a certain duration. This effect is especially useful for the Clock Tower Phantom. Burn- Caused by some fire type enemies this will cause Sora and company to take damage at an increasing rate for a duration of time. This is very similar to poison. Flat- This is caused by Gravity magic and is inflicted on enemies, while it inflicts damage and gathers the enemies together for a certain amount of time the enemy is immune to attacks. (This is represented highly in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
Enemy Effects
Confusion- This causes Sora or sometimes the enemy (In Chain of Memories) to have reversed controls making it more difficult to move and avoid attacks. Poison- Mainly caused by Mushroom Heartless this like Burn causes the player to take damage at an increasing rate even while moving away from the enemy.
