Trumpet is one of Xigbar's weapons in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.

Design

As the name suggests, it is a pair of trumpets. They shoot projectile sound waves from the trumpets' bells, and make the sound of a trumpet as Xigbar shoots and reloads.

It is also notable that since the description for Mystery Gear states that it brings out the user's personality, this may be a reference to the fact Xigbar likes to "toot his own horn".

Gameplay

The Trumpet can fire twelve shots before reloading. Its ground combo fires two quick rounds at a time twice; oddly enough, one of the trumpets is pointed in the air when fired instead of the target. For the ground combo finisher, Xigbar spins around and fires two more shots accompanied by larger sound waves. The aerial combo consists of two four shots fired forward, followed by a backflip and an aerial combo finisher of two more shots before landing. It does not have a finisher.
