Kingdom Hearts Union χEdit
- "But why does that matter? It's not a competition. Or at least it shouldn't be. Our goal of protecting the light is the same. There's no need for us to fight."
— meeting Player and Chirithy for the first time. - "The name's Skuld! You're Player, right?"
— to Player and Chirithy. - "Nice to meet you! Ephemer told me all about you. Don't look so surprised! He used to be in my party, you know. We met not long after I became a Keyblade wielder. There was never a dull moment with him around! But then one day, he just quit. I was really upset about it for a while... But then he showed up in my dream the other night and told me to find you!"
— to Player. - "Good question. I was actually hoping you could tell me. See, I don't really understand why he was in my dream to begin with. But he asked me to go with you. So here I am."
— to Player. - "He was in your dream, too? What'd he say?"
— to Player. - "Hmm... If he's waiting for you, then— Why don't we go to the place you're supposed to meet him?"
— to Player. - "Well, there has to be a reason she said that. And I have a feeling it's the same reason Ephemer asked me to go with you. So let's get movin—"
— to Player before being interrupted by a loud noise. - "The foretellers! Why are they fighting? Ephemer was right... It's what I was trying to tell you earlier. Just before I woke up, he told me...the end of the world is near."
— to Player. - "Yeah. After what we just saw, I can't help thinking it's true. This world will disappear, just like Ephemer did."
— to Player. - "I guess. I was just expecting...more. It's kind of a letdown, really. I wonder what's so important about this place."
— in the foretellers' chamber. - "W-we're so sorry! We were just looking for someone."
— to Master Ava in disguise. - "This is all so— I-I don't understand. So what happened to Ephemer?"
— to Master Ava. - "Can I share a story? When I became a Keyblade wielder, I was so excited. I even made my own party, but no one wanted to join it. Finally, after what seemed like ages, Ephemer did. For a long time, it was just the two of us. But as time passed, others joined us, and we spent all our time gathering as much Lux as possible. With our busy schedule, Ephemer and I spoke less and less, until one day he turned to me and said, "Skuld, you'll be all right on your own now." And then he left. I continued to collect Lux with my party members, but I guess people started to lose interest. One by one they left, until one day, it was just me again. And you know what? Ephemer was right. I WAS fine on my own. I never forgot about him, though. And I know he never forgot about me either because he led me to you. You helped me see so much. Thanks, Player. Now I just have to thank Ephemer, and the only way to do that is to join the Dandelions. Thanks. For everything."
— to Player. - "It doesn't matter. Our only enemy is darkness. Our Keyblades aren't meant to harm one another!"
— attempting to stop the conflict between Keyblade wielders. - "Master Ira. The battlefield? What's about to happen?"
— to Master Ira. - "So Master Ava WAS telling the truth."
— to Master Ira. - "But... She said there would be no winners. So why fight?"
— to Master Ira. - "You don't need to thank me. I just can't believe how bad things have gotten. Everywhere I go, people are arguing with each other. Even the Masters— Well, we all saw what happened."
— to Player's Chirithy. - "Then I suppose there really is no escaping the war."
— to Player's Chirithy. - "You're awake! What a relief."
— to Player. - "Not yet, but I know he's somewhere carrying out Master Ava's wishes. As for me, I'm trying to convince people not to take part in the battle to come. But most of them don't even believe that a war is coming. What's more...Master Ava's absence is causing the Dandelions to lose their focus."
— to Player about Ephemer. - "It's awfully quiet."
— entering a warehouse looking for Master Gula. - "But I can't just sit back and wait for the end to come. I need to warn people what's coming. That's my role as a Dandelion."
— to Master Gula. - "So you don't know where Master Luxu is either?"
— to Master Gula. - "I'm going to go join the other Dandelions. Won't you come with me?"
— to Player. - "I understand. But please, don't take part in the war. I want you to come with us to the world outside. Ephemer would want that too. Think about it."
— to Player. - "Am I the second to arrive?"
— to Ephemer. - "Disappointed? I, on the other hand, had a feeling you might be here."
— to Ephemer. - "This whole thing is a big secret. We weren't supposed to tell anybody."
— to Ephemer. - "I wonder who the others are."
— to Ephemer. - "Welcome! You're number three. I'm Skuld. Nice to meet you."
— to Ventus. - "I was pretty much on my own too."
— to Ventus. - "You must be number four."
— to Brain. - "They're rules. Of course they're set in stone."
— to Brain. - "You're not the first person to say that."
— to Brain upon being likened to Master Ava. - "We should decide on Union leaders."
— to the other Union leaders. - "It's an important decision. We'll need to think long and hard."
— to the other Union leaders. - "It is. And it might be hard, but you're doing a great job."
— to Player's Chirithy. - "That's right. New adventures with friends is a great way to bury sad memories deep within one's heart."
— to Player's Chirithy. - "Don't worry, we'll look into it. In the meantime, you know what your job is. Fill Player in on everything, okay?"
— to Player's Chirithy. - "What was that about? There's no need to worry anyone until we know for sure what it is."
— to Ephemer. - "But we were told to make it happen. It's in the rules, remember?"
— to Ephemer regarding Union Cross. - "I also disagree. Nothing good will come of it."
— to the other Union leaders about Shift Pride. - "He's looking for someone?"
— to the other Union leaders about Lauriam. - "I'm sorry I can't be of any help."
— to Lauriam. - "I think...I may know who this person is."
— to the other Union leaders. - "I knew Ephemer was curious. But Brain, you take the cake."
— to Brain. - "He's called Brain for a reason. He knows a lot more about this than any of us. I just don't understand why the Dandelions needed to be saved from the Keyblade War if we were doomed from the beginning."
— to Ventus. - "So we can't get back? We're stuck here?"
— to the other Union leaders. - "It sure has gotten chilly."
— to Ventus. - "I'm not good with the cold."
— to Ventus. - "Looks like it... Do you think it's snowing in the real Daybreak Town, too?"
— to Ventus. - "I think Brain is looking for a way back to our world, probably with Ephemer. And I'd guess Lauriam is off in search of clues about his sister."
— to Ventus. - "Yeah! It's been a while since we've let loose and had some fun."
— to Ventus. - "But you didn't call us out here to talk about the weather, did you?"
— to Brain and Ephemer. - "What is this? Some kind of interrogation?"
— to Brain and Ephemer. - "What? So Master Ava swapped out one of the leaders too?"
— to Brain and Ephemer. - "Maybe a replacement was chosen after Strelitzia went missing."
— to Brain and Ephemer. - "That makes sense... Is Lauriam's name on there?"
— to Brain and Ephemer. - "Darkness disguised itself as Master Ava?"
— to the other Union leaders. - "He's fast asleep in his room. He seemed pretty exhausted."
— to Ephemer about Ventus. - "He had his head in his hands the whole time. The memories that came back must've been a real shock."
— to Ephemer about Ventus. - "None of this is his fault, right? Can you tell us what's going on?"
— to Brain about Ventus. - "So... If darkness IS behind this whole thing, it must be close by. But why hasn't it tried to harm us? What does it want?"
— to Brain. - "Is that what happened to her? But why?"
— to Brain about Strelitzia. - "Lauriam, please! Please. Just listen."
— to Lauriam. - "A monster!?"
— seeing darkness emerging from Ventus. - "I don't believe you. Ven didn't even know her! Besides, he would never wish that on anyone."
— to Darkness about Strelitzia. - "Ven would never want that!"
— to Darkness. - "That's enough. You're saying because it was in the Book of Prophecies, it was meant to be? Well, I don't care. You hijacked Ven and attacked Lauriam's sister. And now you're gonna pay for it!"
— to Darkness, summoning her Keyblade again. - "But...that means..."
— hearing Darkness's explanation of the end of the world. - "Do you really think the world is going to end?"
— to Ephemer and Player. - "It's not your responsibility alone. But whatever you do decide to do, you have our support. I want you to know that."
— to Ephemer. - "As a backup of the real one."
— to Brain and the others about the data world. - "Who would do something like that? As far as we know, all of the Masters are gone."
— to the others. - "So we're short one."
— about the lifeboat. - "But we're not the only Dandelions."
— to the others. - "Listen, the only way to make it out of this is to go back. We're the ones responsible for this whole situation in the first place. So you, Ven, and Player should go."
— to Elrena. - "Lauriam, it's yours. If there's a chance you'll get your sister back, then you need to be there for her. Besides, you'll have a better chance of finding answers over there. You should take it."
— to Lauriam. - "I'm not leaving you two here."
— to Ephemer and Player. - "Do you think they all got there safely?"
— to Ephemer about Brain, Lauriam, and Elrena. - "I can't believe the world is ending."
— to Ephemer and Player. - "There are four of them?"
— when the Darknesses arrive. - "I thought we'd dealt with you..."
— thinking that Player is possessed by Darkness. - "What should we do, Ephemer?"
— arriving in the real world. - "It takes so much time and effort to create, but only an instant to destroy..."
— witnessing the end. - "Thank you for being here, Ephemer. I'm glad I don't have to face the end alone."
— to Ephemer.
