This should be revised. I don't think that a sig without a name matters as long as it links to the right page. TheFifteenthMember 16:39, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
- I think we should keep it. When a sig contains the user's name, it makes it easier to see who said what, especially on mobile devices that don't allow you to see the link by hovering. If we change it, you would have to follow the links every time you want to see who posted a message. TheSilentHero 16:44, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
- But we're a small community anyway so it's easy to get to know everyone relatively quickly. Even if it's slightly inconvenient, I think it's worth it for people to be able to stylise their sigs how they like. TheFifteenthMember 17:07, 26 May 2016 (UTC)
- The rule isn't actually that strict. You can even have just your initials or an abbreviation, as long as you have something that identifies who you are. TheSilentHero 17:00, 27 May 2016 (UTC)
- Some people (e.g. LightRoxas) have other names they'd rather go by, which I personally don't mind. As long as it identifies them in some way (and for me, a link to their userpage suffices), I think the signature is okay. However, I do understand if we want to enforce the signature name rule.
