Hopefully, we can actually get some votes on Featured Article this month.
As December is a month of snow, holidays, and PRESENTS joyous cheer, I think it would be great to target a Christmas-themed article, such as Christmas Town, Santa Claus, or Santa Form.
17master - Hey, guys, check out my new camera! TALK - Oh wait, this isn't a camera... - {{{time}}}
Since the word joyous is present (lol pun), I vote for Santa Form. Santa Claus doesn't look as jolly as he should be.
LightRoxas - "You shoot him, I shoot you, I leave both your bodies here and go out for a late night snack. I'm thinking maybe pancakes." TALK - "I don't like feeling like Team Chuck's little fat kid!"
I labeled Aero as a gameplay element. Feel free to change if you think it fits better under another category (magic?).
Anyways, for this month I think it would be great if we could get a boss article as the FA. Personally, I think that Grim Reaper is fairly high quality, but we could also go with Dustflier, Vanitas Remnant, or any other boss article. Discuss!
Since we are removing the Cleanup of the Month, we need to showcase whatever success we did have.

I'd go with Aero, since that was not only the result of the Cleanup of the Month, but also the result of a Heartless Manufactory.
LightRoxas - "I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger - the people it did choose. TALK - "I am who I am, because of them."
I did nominate Aero last month, but we decided to go with Titan Cup since it had been nominated for 3 consecutive months. Now, though, I'd go for Aero, as I think it's the most complete of the three.
17master— "Hi, I'm the world famous talking Emerald Box!"
And I like to eat HUMAN cupcakes. — 16:17, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Aero. What Chitalian said, and the fact that it's one of the most recurring spell in the game.
LightRoxas - "One day when you're in trouble, the light within you will lead you to the light of another. Someone to keep you safe." TALK - "Ven, I'm sorry... I might not make it back as soon as I thought. But I promise I'll be there, one day, to wake you up."
For Featured Article, we've generally been avoiding magic articles because they've been relatively low quality. However, there are now a few magic articles that are higher quality, notably Aero, Gravity, and Magnet. I think we should feature one of these articles; right now I'd nominate Aero, as it is the highest quality of those three.

It appears to be an ancient letter, from someone known as "The_Inexistent".
I pinged Kryten on the IRC, and asked him what had to be improved on the Titan Cup page. I fixed all of the issues he mentioned. As such, I would like to nominate Titan Cup. I feel that, even though the magic pages are getting along, they are still incomplete. Perhaps they could be featured in the future, unless, Aero is indeed finished right now, in which case it would be a great candidate.
LightRoxas - "I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger - the people it did choose. TALK - "I am who I am, because of them."
Nice Zork bubble, Inexistent.
I do think Aero is finished, but Titan Cup has been in the running for a few months now. I'd say go for Titan Cup this time, and I'll renominate Aero for next month.
LightRoxas - "It was the sound of books... pages being turned. So, that's just what I was doing, just reading, uh... books. So not a moron." TALK - "Apparently when you scream at a marshmallow, all you get is a scared marshmallow."
As good choices as both those seem, Titan Cup doesn't hold much significance and Moogle still needs plenty of work. I'd like to nominate Grim Reaper, a difficult Heartless from Kingdom Hearts II. It has a large strategy section, and it has been ages since a Heartless has been featured.
EDIT 10:38, 19 July 2011 (EDT): Since I originally posted this, Moogle has been fixed and is now a model article. I'm certainly open to Moogle being featured.
Eternal Nothingness XIII - I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it. TALK - There's darkness within me... So what does that matter? I know I'm strong enough to hold it back. — 14:33, 18 July 2011 (EDT)
I second the Moogle's nomination.
The Inexistent - Pitiful users, mindlessly collecting information. The rage of an edit releases this knowledge, and they all come together, to form: The Wiki!!! TALK - And on the Wiki these words appear: "My name is The_Inexistent, user of users: Look upon my edits, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Actually, I do believe the Moogle article is "finished". I may be very wrong here, but I believe the recent interest in the Moogle shops was merely spurred by finishing Moogle. But then again, I'm only saying this because I feel the Moogle shop info should be in the Moogle Shop article, where it rightfully belongs. I also brought this subject up on the talk page.
EDIT 16:53, 18 July 2011 (EDT) : Moogle is back in the running. I vote for Moogle (I guess I'm kind of nominating it, too.
"What is with you and picking up stray puppies?" — 17:45, 18 July 2011 (EDT)
I say Moogle. A lot of work has been put into it and it deserves the nom, I think it looks good now.

Good to see that Moogle is getting to where it needs to be. As for the shop info, we could transclude it on the page and merge Moogle Shop altogether. However, it makes more sense to me to place the shop table on Moogle Shop, and then make a short section on the Moogle article with the Main template leading to Moogle Shop.
For this month, I nominate Titan Cup. We have never featured a cup article, let alone anything to do with the colleseum. This article is by far the most complete of all the cup articles, and it has one of the most interesting trophies. All I need to know is if it is missing "further plot information", like what is listed on the majority of other cup articles, or if that is what the strategy and rules are. Until then, I'll be addnig a plot related section using <!--- --->.
EDIT 21:19, 7 June 2011 (EDT): Mini games are not considered gameplay elements, correct? I do not believe so, as they are too numerous, and they rarely contribute to the actual gameplay, plus it doesn't really fit with the other gameplay elements already featured.

Moogle is extremely close to completion; its few imperfections are even able to be and have been listed on its talk page. With an entire month to complete this, I think we should certainly feature Moogle. Lately, we have been featuring articles that are more minor within the entire KH universe. While this is good for the articles and hard to not do while trying to keep our original character count down, I think Moogle is a more major article that is close to perfection.
Fair enough. I denominate Titan Cup. I'll renominate it next month after it's been polished, and when it is completely eligible (because I'm still not sure...)
Well, it's the first of the month. Seeing as Titan Cup isn't up to par, I suppose Moogle is the next choice. However, it seems we didn't finish Moogle. As such, I'm going to nominate a Days mission article: Mission 93: Believe for this month. Like the other mission articles they're complete with videos, strategy sections, story summaries, treasure locations, etc. Note: I'm mainly nominating this because we're short on time. If someone has something better to switch it to, by all means, change it.--Xion4ever 23:07, 1 July 2011 (EDT)
...I don't remember deciding that. I remember you mentioning it in the middle of another discussion and assuming it to be discussed. Sure, it's fine to nominate those again, but let's not exclude any other particularly or potentially magnificent articles. --DTN 21:12, 14 May 2011 (EDT)
On that note, I'd like to nominate Moogle. We've only featured one article focusing on a Final Fantasy character, and that series is booming right now, with Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim, and Final Fantasy Fantasy Type-0. However, since none of these are prevalent in the series, I say we just go with a constant: Moogle! I'm going to start working on the article to make it a more proper candidate than it is now, so please do consider this. --DTN 21:20, 14 May 2011 (EDT)
I'm pretty sure the whole point of it being a Featured Article is that it's a good article, not that the series it's from is "booming". Just the fact that you need to go and fix it up shows that it is in no condition to be the Featured Article. For that reason I place my vote for KH TCG to raise awareness about the card articles and feature an article that is more original. -- ASIF! 21:23, 14 May 2011 (EDT)
As if: Of course, you are correct. The condition of the article comes before that of the popularity of its subject. However, the great part of that is that the article is in near-prime condition now. All it is missing now that I can see is a render of its Timeless River form. TCG is important, though I'm thinking of distribution here, so that we have some diversity in our articles being featured. --DTN 03:23, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
Diversity was the entire reason I nominated this. We have no real world articles featured, nothing related to cards, and 6 character articles. KRCCFNFistiredof beingSTEPPED ON. 09:25, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
Moot. Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is a real-world article, though not specified explicitly, and as you can see above, Final Fantasy character articles fall into a different category than that of Kingdom Hearts original characters. Plus, the TCG article is not even close to being of a high standard that would make it an exemplary article. Moogle, on the other hand, just needs the Timeless River model, and that's purely aesthetic for visualization purposes. --DTN 17:59, 15 May 2011 (EDT)
The Inexistent - Dusk, Light to Darkness... TALK - The great transition.
Well, it's almost half way through the month... I'm not sure if this nomination will go through (as I suspect that Avatar Menu will be used next month if complete). BUT, in the event that it isn't, or for June, I nominate Kingdom Hearts Trading Card Game. The article is complete, with no expansion templates, stub tags, or section stub tags. It gives a complete overview of the TCG, and, if featured, would allow readers to discover the dozens and dozens of card articles we have here.
EDIT- 20:24, 13 April 2011 (EDT) And we've never done a real world article. This would be a perfect opportunity.
Here's the thing: the TCG page doesn't link to a single card article. If there were a nav template or a list of cards, it'd do the trick.
That being the case, I'm going for another nom, and I'm calling for End of the World. The article's complete, the media within it are diverse and some of the links lead to pages which need improvement.
Why did the Keyblade choose me? I have to know. • TroisNyxÉtienne — 19:59, 17 April 2011 (EDT)
UxieLover1994 Tiempo de morder de nuevo con el poder! El tema de hoy: su sorpresa! — 09:28, 18 April 2011 (EDT)
End of the World: I vote for that, too! Since there are pages connected to it that need to be edited and such.
The Inexistent - All your base are belong to us... TALK - What you say?!?
Done. The article now links to ALL Card: articles, and soon they will all link back to the TCG article. I still believe that this article would be a good choice, as it would be an entirely new category, as opposed to another character article or another world article.

After a discussion with Kryten, we're really looking to feature Avatar Menu for April, if the community agrees. However, the article is missing a bit of info here and there:
Confirmation of random avatar names.
There are possibly 10+ more that we have not yet covered.
Gallery of scratch card backgrounds and icons.
General edits to the introductory lead text.
Filling in/creating the Floor Code and Floor Challenge tables
Hope this helps! If the community has something else in mind, don't be hesitant to suggest it. Be sure to refer to the stats above! We've only had two featured articles of gameplay elements, so here's a potentially excellent third one.
Actually, I was going to suggest "List of Avatar Parts", just because of how amazing it is that we managed to get all 900+ images, but that works too. I can definitely tell that you're trying to make it worthy of being the Featured Article, just by the sheer amount of edits made on it in the past few days. If we can just make it perfect, I definitely think we could use it for April's Featured Article.
The Inexistent - All the world's a puzzle, and I the one who made it so... TALK - EVIL has come... at last...
Thirded. On a completely unrelated note, yes, it is missing Re:coded info, I'll work on that EDIT 17:18, 4 March 2011 (EST) - Wait... what info is missing? To my knowledge, it's attacks didn't change. The kanji on the sword is translated, in the design section. Also, so I may be able to fix it, what info is missing? We have the artwork, and all of the stats are filled in. And lastly, I thought that the FA should have some amount of text, as opposed to articles that are 90% images like treasure chest or 98.56% images like List of Avatar Parts...
LightRoxas - "Humans can be terrible creatures indeed." TALK - "Now, kill me... or I... shall kill YOU!"
As much as I like Tron, I'm gonna agree with Avatar Menu. I feel like a lot of people forgot about Re:Coded because of BBS earlier release and news about KH3D. Maybe this will remind some readers.
I'm pretty sure it's because they didn't finish it in time, which is why if you look on Kryten's user page and talk page, he demands that everyone to help finish it. (Yay, that's a subjunctive indirect command dependant clause.)

After some decision-making in the roundtable, it was decided that Avatar Menu is still unfit to be featured. Instead, we will be featuring the model article for the Items project, Dragoon. KAIN HIGHWIND FTW
For the month of March, I nominate Invisible. Now, you may be saying, "T_I, why are you nominating your favorite article?" Well, for one reason, only two Heartless enemies have ever been featured. Second, this article is extremely complete, with all journal entries, a very complete design section, and even an image of its weapon. In addition, this Heartless has appeared in several games. And, finally, the Invisibles are more of an unusual type of Heartless, having a human- like build, weilding an actual weapon, and bearing writing on said weapon.
Raiden9000 - I nominate Cloud Strife's page. My reason for this is because there is only one Final Fantasy based character page that is featured so far and that is Leon. Cloud also has some good attacks when you fight him throughout the games and has a cool fight scene with Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2. Sorry if my nomination was meant to be in one of
those bubble things like the one above, but I don't know how to do those.
Unfortunatly, this is ineligible, because: As per the rules above, you lack sufficient edits, and gave no real reason why the page itself is a polished article. KRCCFNFistiredof beingSTEPPED ON. 21:43, February 3, 2011 (UTC)
Raiden9000 - My bad. Stupid dyslexia...
I see now. 200 edits... Is that in this wiki alone or across all wikis?
@Raiden - No, it is unique to this wiki, but you should be sure to check the rules on other wikis, because no two are alike. KRCCFNFistiredof beingSTEPPED ON. 21:02, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
Plus FA still tiptoes on Staff jurisdiction. maggosh 21:17, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
Raiden9000 - Cool thanks. I'm going to go now. =D
LightRoxas - "I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger - the people it did choose. TALK - "I am who I am, because of them."
I'd like to nominate Mark of Mastery, as it is of importance in the upcoming title KH3D. March is the launch month of the 3DS, so we can expect a lot more info on the game coming our way soon. The article itself is fairly polished and it would make a unique change of pace for FA.
As much as I love BBS, I'm gonna go with Invisible..it's nice for a change to see a Heartless after all these Nobodies/Unversed games. Anywho, I'm all for Invisible. However, isn't there supposed to be a strategy section on the page?--Xion4ever 18:14, 11 February 2011 (EST)
I would like to nominate Mickey Mouse. He is one of the most important characters in the series, and is a fan favorite (he placed third in the Keyblade War). His article is also very polished and well written, with no additions or revisions listed at the top of the page. There have also been only two Disney characters in featured articles, much like Heartless, so I think it's time we give Mickey the respect he deserves.
All right, since my nomination is ineligible, I'll just vote for Invisible too. LightRoxas 16:47, 23 February 2011 (EST)
Just to clarify: everyone on here nominates/votes for Invisible, yes? If not, speak now by shortly, and clearly nominating something else. DON'T RANT SAYING "Since it's ineligible/I don't really like it, but I'll go with it/etc." Peferct example sentence: "I do not nominate/vote for Invisible, instead I nominate <insert article with link here>."--Xion4ever 18:53, 24 February 2011 (EST)
Yes, I vote for Invisible. Wasn't really trying to rant. LightRoxas 15:00, 25 February 2011 (EST)
Verdict: Invisible is still missing several pieces of quality information--Re:coded info, translation of the kanji on the sword, and information from all the Ultimanias. Since no other article has recieved a significant amount of sceondary support to this article, we had an IRC conversation in #KHWiki-noticeboard, and decided upon Treasure Chest, with a super special surprise image system to be coded by LegoAlchemist. --DTN 01:08, 3 March 2011 (EST)
LightRoxas - "I fight for the Users!" TALK - "I'm also better than you!"
So, I've read the posts below, and it looks like this is now open to non-staff. If I'm correct, then I'd like to nominate Aqua for February. Here's why:
Don't make me laugh. — 17:39, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
I'd say winning the Keyblade War would be a reason not to make her the featured article.
Two things: One, there needs to be something this month that isn't a character. Second, isn't this supposed to be staff only? KRCCFNFistiredof beingSTEPPED ON. 02:44, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
1) Then what about Ultima Weapon? It has appeared in several games, and we've only done one featured weapon.
2) It looks like they decided to make it open if you read the discussion below. LightRoxas 14:14, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
As much as I like Aqua as a character, I favor Ultima Weapon. We haven't been focusing on weapons very much for featured articles or Media, so it's nice for a change.--Xion4ever 17:30, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
I agree, Ultima Weapon's a good idea. maggosh 17:44, January 22, 2011 (UTC)
I also agree, but would you all say the article is high-quality enough to be the Featured Article? It looks good to me, just wanted to make sure. Chitalian8 01:20, January 25, 2011 (UTC)
I personally am all for it, it's something new, something that's not overly cliche, sounds good to me--ShadowsTwilight 05:58, February 1, 2011 (UTC)
I nominate Land of Departure for the month of January. With the possibility of the wiki leaving in the quickly approacing months of the future, I thought Land of Departure would be nice for it's title- departure. Think of this nomination for January as a farewell to this horrid Oasis, and a departure towards a better home. Also, once we do move, I nominate the remains of this Wiki to be Castle Oblivion. :P--Xion4ever 19:09, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
The problem with that is that articles should be nominated for excellence, not timing... but darn, this one is just too perfect to resist. If we could get a few staffers, and of course anyone else, to spruce this article up into an example of an ideal world article, I am all for it. --DTN 23:58, December 16, 2010 (UTC)
I would be willing to assist. maggosh 00:25, December 17, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, we have a problem. Head down to the bottom of the page, it seems we agreed to allow this article of the month to be decided by voting. Two thoughts: 1) January could quite possibly be the last month that this wiki remains on the wiki before moving, so we could make the change back to voting in conjunction with our move. Actually, this might be a helpful transition. 2) We have already chosen an article that seems pretty up-to-snuff, we could also just make sure the general community is fine with it. --DTN 23:11, December 26, 2010 (UTC)
I could really go either way, but considering it's our last month, I'd say open the polls. maggosh 00:14, January 2, 2011 (UTC)
