Oh snap. But either way, yeah, he's an easy boss. Oh. Since this is a talk page, remember to sign your name after typing. Use four of this sign "~" after you've finished typing.

Just because we're kids doesn't mean we can't run a business— {{{time}}}
Or use your talk bubble ;D
Crud, he might not have one... and chances are that we might have to take this outside.
Anyway. We were talking about Darkside. Yeah. He sure is easy. Even towards the end of KH1 he was easy. I didn't find any difficulty defeating him in Re:Chain (at least, Sora's story - I haven't finished Reverse/Rebirth yet).

This is Rikloud, we were helping him create one earlier :D remember?
and yeah, Darkside is quite easy, in both games...
You know what, at the rate we are all going, I might as well save him the trouble and go create a talk bubble for him - depends on whether he wants Riku or Cloud. I think I'll take Riku (because I uploaded a Riku pic once).
Edit - It's done. Template:Rikloud - Rikloud, if you see this, open Edit Page, input your text just as I do, but replace my username with yours. And see what happens. :)

Zexion14 - Go here and take my poll quick! TALK - I don't want to fight!
In the first sentence it says that Sora encountered Darkside 3/4 times, does that make any sense? Or am I'm just going crazy?
I remember in one game it was 4, and in another it was 3.
The first save file I ever had for KH was this : Darkside was encountered a rare four times - Awakening, DI, Traverse Town 3rd District, and End of the World.
The rest of my save files only had three Darkside encounters. So that sentence is pretty understandable, though I don't know where the Traverse Town encounter came from.

Hmm thats strange I'm pretty sure the only thing you fight in the 3rd distict is the Guard Armor, but I'll take your word for it ^-^
I suppose it's an anomaly only a few people encounter (as I remember my cousin who played it also encountered Darkside in the 3rd District, for some unknown reason).

It's such a shame. The Organization used to be the rope that bound us together. - {{{time}}}
Well you'd think if it were to happen, there would be a video of it somewhere on youtube or it would mention it in the strategy guide. I find it odd that you would have one appear in Traverse Town.
You think that immediately after a harrowing experience with Darkside in TT you'd be able to find it ever again ? Perhaps your chances are narrowed down to 1:100000, I tell ye.

Xeyj - Sora....you're lucky. Looks like my summer vacation is...over. TALK - We're friends right?
I found a Darkside in TT, Second time I played whe it didn't appear I thought that my second game glitched.
See, I'm not the only one !
What irks me is that sometimes, if I'm unlucky enough to get a glitch in the game, it appears in the 3rd District !
But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out! • TroisNyxÉtienne — 12:49, January 7, 2010 (UTC)
A few extra notes (one of my friends on KHFR was kind enough to replay the fight with Darkside and this is what I found) on the experience — I don't know why no mention has been made of it :
If you have Guard and you manage to deflect the balls of energy coming out from the heart-shaped opening, successfully deflecting them will give you one Tech Point, and if they hit Darkside, you get two Tech Points.
If you choose to attack the head instead of the wrists/hands, every third hit landed will give you two Tech Points (if it's a ground combo ; air combos take longer).
Note again that the video is about the fight with Darkside when there is a storm in Destiny Islands. As for the one towards the end, I reckon it'd be higher, but the best thing for me to do would be to wait for the video of that fight (since he says he'd upload the whole lot on YT).

LegoAlchemist - They changed "Snipe Magnet" to "Magnet Grab"? Who's translating this game, 4kids? TALK - Friendships are in direct contravention of mercenary conduct as delineated in your contracts, and on a personal note: I am very, very, disappointed with you.
Wouldn't Sora-Heartless technically be a variant of the Darkside? After all, he does take its appearance in a fight. Just saying.
Provided that we can find that render where it's featured. We can briefly mention that Sora-Heartless takes the form of a Darkside during the initial stages of the battle, and throw in the render. Thoughts ?

Seems good to me.GloriousCHAOS! 11:24, June 6, 2010 (UTC)
I would have to agree on that to. Afer all if we look for more than looks and attack patterns for that stuff, than why would we have Dark Follower in the Variantions box. Kuri-Master
The little box that tells what this page needs say's that we need a Re:Coded Battle video, but dont we also need a CoM R/R video with riku battleing (Re.CoM to). Also I dont see a video of the 358/2 days battle with this. Kuri-master
Days boss videos aren't used because we do full-mission videos instead.(ಠ_ೃ)Bully! 02:22, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
O.K. that makes sence, but it should still say that the reverse-rebirth battles with riku (both in CoM and Re.CoM) can you agree with me on that.Kuri-master
In the third battle with the Darkside, the Shadows drop munny, which I find really pointless because in the other two fights, the Shadows merely drop HP orbs, and there is nowhere for you to use that munny anyway (it's a point of no return). I know this seems pointless, but should our frustrations about this actually go on the Darkside page? If so, how?

Since they drop Munny before the point of no return, I think the simplest explanation is that it is the Destiny Islands Shadows who are a separate variation, and this is just an odd coincidence of using "after rescue" Shadows.
