Jump

Jump (ジャンプ Janpu?) is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts. Jump allows the player character to leap into the air; outside of combat, the other party members will follow suit. Jump appears in every game, and is always a default ability.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts, Jump can be used by pressing   (  in the Japanese and Final Mix version).

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Jump can be used by pressing  . Alternatively, keeping hold of   as Data-Sora approaches a ledge activates Auto-Jump, which makes Data-Sora automatically jump up or across, depending on the context.

In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Jump is a movement command that is used by pressing  .

In Kingdom Hearts III, Jump can be used by pressing   (  in the Japanese versions) while on the ground.
