Table

We need a table for each portal. The constants are location, enemies, and bonus requirement. There is a short list of random dream pieces and bonus items you can get for each portal, but the Bradygames only lists one of them for each portal, so if the ultimania doesn't have it we'll have to either rely on gamefaqs or our own testing. Special portals also have a specific forecast.

We also need to determine if the regular portals are tied to the activated special portal, whether the weather is tied to the special portal, and whether the special portals go in a set sequence."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 19:33, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

As I always ask, should an infobox be made for Link Portals? Because, just like the System Sectors, Link Portals will be in the Game page of each world. So, we coul make a table divided in Regular, Special and Secret, with the infoboxes of each Portal inside them. - MateusinhoEX - 16:54, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

We need the template although it would always have only 7 tabs (regular portals are random so don't need any noting, unless I'm incorrect. There are 6 special portals per world although I think TWTNW is different. And there's also the extra secret portal). TheFifteenthMember 20:31, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

The World That Never Was has three Special Portals, apparently. But how many Secret Portals does it have? just one per character? I can start the template tomorrow. I think I will also make one, or maybe just a table, for Dives.- MateusinhoEX - 14:54, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
Actually, there's a need for another tab for Friend Portals. It would list all the possible DEs that a portal would give for that world. 15:21, 19 May 2013 (UTC)

I think we should return to this page. A table can be made for which nightmares are in which Special Portals and worlds. I know other sites have these tables too, but having them here would be convenient. - Musicfreekx (talk) 18:03, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Move Page

Shouldn't this be moved to Link_Portals or Link Portal? Or Portals are used in other games too? - MateusinhoEX - 14:15, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

I agree to Link Portal. TheFifteenthMember 22:15, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
I left it as Portal because there are 3 types of Portals in the game, Link Portals, Secret Portals and Battle Portals. Erry 04:31, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

Plus the term "Portal" is a plot element in Traverse Town and the Grid. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 07:51, 19 February 2013 (UTC)

But we have a point here. This page is for Portal Gameplay element. So, it will still be useless for the plot info on the Grid and Traverse Town. Maybe, we could make a page called just "Portal" with the plot info and another called "Link Portals", because Secret, Battle and Friendship are all different types of Link Portals. We make sections for each one, and then, we just redirect their pages. Anyway, we still need another page for the plot info, because this is only for gameplay, isn't it? - MateusinhoEX - 12:22, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
If I remember correctly, the Portal in Traverse Town is a manifestation of the same concept, of letting characters from various dream worlds communicate."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 01:14, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
In that case, it should just be Portal. TheFifteenthMember 02:40, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

Switched Portals Glitch

Well, this Glitch really happens in the game. It happenned two times to me until now. It basically consists of the game not processing the Drop between Sora and Riku correctly, thus resulting in the Portals that were loaded not cycling. So, for example, you'll be playing as Sora, but the Portals loaded are the ones for Riku. In worlds that are totally different for them, such as PP and TWTNW, none Portals can be found if this glitch happens. It can happen two times: first, if you don't skip "The Keyblade War" flashback in the beginning of the game, the first of Riku's flashbacks, and second, after finishing the game, saving the clear data and playing again as Sora. (it only happenned to me this way after I have beaten the game twice). Although, the glitch stops by itself after some drops, so, it's not something to worry about, but that should be noted somewhere. - MateusinhoEX 17:45, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
