Dawn Warriors
Out of curiosity, how many players are in your party? If it's not many, would y'all be open to merging with the wiki's party, KHWV in Vulpes?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:24, 5 July 2016 (UTC)
Blanked out
Everything that's on the page for an unreleased game has to be cited or blanked out, due to their high profile. I understand that it's easy to cite most of those things, as they have been mentioned, but until cites are added they have to be hidden."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:56, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
- No, it doesn't at all.
- It does far more damage for us to have potentially false information than it does for us to not be up-to-the-minute on hot scoops. This is a wiki, not a news site.
- Not all editors have the time or ability to look up whichever cite the person who added the claim was operating on. It takes much more time for them to try and backtrack that person's work than for that person to simply follow the clearly stated policy and cite their sources in the first place.
- There is absolutely nothing preventing someone who has a cite from un-blanking the info and appending that cite.
- The "point of this being a wiki" is to be an encyclopedia. Most high-quality encyclopedias take years to produce, and carefully vet every piece of information. The wiki is already playing fast and loose by not completely locking the article from editing.
- In short, while we don't play hardball about claims that are common knowledge, anything that is in any sense reported like news needs to be cited, end of. If it is not cited, it will be blanked or removed, and doing so is not only allowed by the wiki's policies, but is what the ethos of the wiki strives for."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 03:31, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- Again, refer to point number 2. I have enough time per day to keep a lid on the wiki, but very little time to do infodives unless it's literally "google the gamefaqs script, search and paste"."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:15, 7 July 2016 (UTC)
- Fixed."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 13:24, 7 July 2016 (UTC)

Nice work with the HD images! I just wanted to let you know you forgot to upload the HD version of Goofy's D-Link. TheSilentHero 10:17, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

Command Menu image names
Could you please name the future command menus you upload like this:
File:Command Menu (<Location>) <World-prefix> KHII.png
where location is the part of the world, and the world prefix is one of these. TheSilentHero 17:41, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
I'm amazed by your work, both the Command Style and the Dimension Link images turned out great and this command menu looks crazy good too. --ShardofTruth 21:20, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
Image request
Would you be able to arrange maps for the Unchained worlds, with some pathing like on a subway map connecting the doorways on each image?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 04:18, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- Well, for starters lol, the Unchained worlds don't have minimaps so that's out. Secondly, I could do the second thing you're asking - layer them all together with arrows directed to the next area, just like in the game. I more or less could, but there's two hurdles to that: 1-The end results would be huge. Like...Billy Fucillo huge. 2-The layouts change from mission to mission! For example, Daybreak Town - the sewer entrance to the tower/castle is filled with water in earlier missions. Soo...how would you want that done? The latest iterations? --Ignis (talk) 04:44, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, not minimaps. I mean simply arranging the ripped map tiles and using subway-style vectors to connect them in the appropriate locations.
- I would say latest iteration, as with Chi. If it's a location that had multiple versions (like Curious Room), maybe put that to the side like Alaska? And downsize the images as necessary so that they're still identifiable, but that the map image could be viewed in a human way (like, small enough the brain can retain the positioning, but scrolling is fine if needed). I think the images we have on khunchainedx.com are proper scale, but they may not be. I've tried to play around with this in MSPaint, but we both know that's a laughable way to do a proper job of it."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 12:38, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- Alright, I think I can conduct a little experiment to see how it'll work. Now, can you upload a file with ALL the Daybreak Town areas? I've noticed we're actually missing a good number of them here, and I can't find all of them on the Unchained wiki. :( --Ignis (talk) 15:24, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think I can, no, I don't know what's missing. Can you start with Wonderland or Olympus, which have both been completed?"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:55, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- Rofl, Olympus has two areas! But sure, I can roll with those. --Ignis (talk) 19:10, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
- The complete Olympus, with Underworld, I meant."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 21:27, 23 September 2016 (UTC)

- It's horrible lol. It'd be one thing if it's just the one browser, or my PC is slow for some reason, but at times it gets just as bad on my work macbook. I mean...I'm PRETTY sure wikia's crappiness is one major reason this wiki has since gone independent. --Ignis (talk) 23:11, 23 September 2016 (UTC)

KHII and BBS minimaps
Hey there. May I help with the minimap project? I downloaded those files that ShardofTruth ripped. User:Rebellious Treecko/SigRebellious Treecko (talk) 06:33, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Here are some:

Would these be allowed on the wiki? They could arguably count as "fan-created/edited". Rebellious Treecko (talk) 06:33, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Why?
Please bring problems with other users to a staff member so we can have peaceful mediation, rather than one-on-one confrontation."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:50, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- I don't believe it's evolved into a problem just yet - just a small clash of personalities. When/if it starts to negatively affect the wiki, it'll be the first thing I'll do. --Ignis (talk) 14:51, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Then it shouldn't be brought up on-wiki. The project is not helped by mudslinging."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 14:56, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Not mudslinging either. And I brought it up so it doesn't turn into a problem. :/ --Ignis (talk) 22:46, 4 October 2016 (UTC)
- Which is exactly the thing that I have repeatedly clarified shouldn't be done.
- Again -- if you have an issue with another editor, contact a staff member about it (preferably after bringing them to the IRC or another private channel). The method you are defending is not condoned by this community."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 23:41, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

- Yeah....that's...probably a good idea. --Ignis (talk) 16:02, 30 October 2016 (UTC)
- No, Cloud is not in the right. Nothing indicates that the order of events is "Ventus, then Aqua", and in fact both battles end with the implication that Ven has regained his body just as the X-blade is defeated -- thus, the battles are simultaneous."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." Images
Hey there. Just a reminder for when you upload images to add the proper licensing and category/categories. If you aren't sure of which category/licensing to use, just ask. Also, regarding the images you uploaded a while back- the "cutin" and "BUTTON" images, in particular. Are these images serving a later purpose, or were they a temporary idea that was closed? If the former, that's fine, we can categorize them appropriately. If the latter, please upload them to an off-Wiki site (Photobucket is what I've used) and link that back to the Wiki. Thanks, if you have any questions just ask. Xion4ever 02:27, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

can you maybe do the KH2 sprites from KH2.5 Please? I'd surely appreciate it.

- Soo...what exactly is the plan? Like, fake gameplay images? Scans? Or maybe like, webcomics or something? I'm not that kind of artist lol. --Ignis (talk) 01:07, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'm basically looking for fake versions of the material Square Enix releases to promote its games: scans, gameplay images, et cetera. Maybe some world logos if possible, that sort of thing. Does any of that sound doable? - Eternal Nothingness XIII 01:16, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, quite doable. But, I don't really understand the point of it. Like, is it for April Fool's or something? Or just to troll the sites in general lol? I mean, yeah, coming up with game ideas sounds neat on paper, but it's a lot of work for something that will ultimately go nowhere for everyone involved, and most people will care very little about. So, I say, go somewhere with it! Take that concept, and go all the way with it. The "story screenshots" you mock up, you string into a cohesive story. The "gameplay" images you mock up, you make into the battle scenes. How about that lol? --Ignis (talk) 01:26, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- This is all because I dream of creating a game series like Kingdom Hearts someday, if not contributing to the series itself. I have ideas, and I want to share them with the world. I've seen Kingdom Hearts fan-games get attention before from people online, and I'd like my work to get some of that attention, too. I want to create something that looks convincing and could be "on-par" with the rest of the Kingdom Hearts series as a whole. I have some basic story ideas for some of the games listed above, while I have gameplay concepts in mind for others. Did that make any sense? :P - Eternal Nothingness XIII 01:32, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I get it. But, I can't just devote my time or expect anyone else to do the same for game concepts, and nothing more. :/ I hope you understand. --Ignis (talk) 03:24, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- I completely understand how you feel. I would not want to waste time contributing to something that cannot become a tangible product, either. However, I must admit I'm confused. What did you mean by, "So, I say, go somewhere with it! Take that concept, and go all the way with it. The 'story screenshots' you mock up, you string into a cohesive story. The 'gameplay' images you mock up, you make into the battle scenes?" I ask because I still see great potential in our team-up. Websites like this prove to me fan-games can generate interest within a community, but I realize working on projects like these is not everyone's cup of tea. What would you most be interested in working on, and what do you feel would be the best use of your time if you were to develop something like what I proposed? I honestly think I should have asked this from the get-go, instead of telling you what I am most in need of, myself. Please forgive me for that. By the way, those are some impressive-looking HUD mockups you have on your DeviantArt page! - Eternal Nothingness XIII 06:20, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- Personally, I'm not really interested in anything. XD I make those mock-ups because it's fun, and because it makes my portfolio all purty. Fangames are a pipe dream - 1 in 500 actually get made, and of those that do get made, 1 in 500 are any decent lol. Though...I don't think there even exist 500 successfully made fangames. XD That's why I just make free-to-use user interfaces. I'm not trying to make anything - that's up to individual people. They're free to use my assets however they see fit. IF I actively work on something, either by myself or with someone else, I have to be 100% convinced it's worth undertaking, and that it'll actually come out as something tangible. May not be a fangame, but at least something with purpose. What that is is entirely up to the person with the idea. XD Not including professionally commissioned work, I've only ever experienced that once. ...In fact, I'm still working on it. XD You can actually thank Kryten for that lol. So! IF you have an idea that you are 100% convinced can actually be made, are 100% convinced you can convince me, and it has a purpose, then I'm all ears. :P It's not as hard as it sounds lol! I'm easily convinced! I just need safeguards, so to speak, so random fools don't try to waste my time lol. In fact, Kryten convinced me of my current project with just a single sentence. And he doesn't even know it! XD I'mma surprise the fuck out of him with it. --Ignis (talk) 07:16, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- Let us take fan-games out of the equation. Have you ever considered teaming up with someone to produce an original game? The only reason I tend not to write brand-new material is because I struggle to if I cannot picture it in my head. Thus, it is easier for me to write for existing franchises, as I already know how their characters and worlds look. It only takes a bit of imagination to tell new stories about them.

- That said, I have always wanted to put fan-games on the back-burner and focus on producing my own stuff. I dream of telling new tales about characters I invent and then having the public enjoy those stories. Crazy as it may sound, that is my life's goal. This if the kind of thing I'd like to make someday, as far as video games go. I may sound overly ambitious, but in truth, I am just extremely committed. I have never been part of a creative team before, but I find the idea of it exciting. No matter how many projects I start, be they fan-games or otherwise, I find it is the lack of a team that shares my creative passion and drive that prevents me from turning out finished products. I can't tell you how many concepts I have stuck in limbo because I have incurable writers block where they are concerned :P I guess all I need is the right inspiration. - Eternal Nothingness XIII 07:49, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'd love to lol. But you need a team of people, each with certain skillsets and are all equally committed to making something happen. The thing is, most everyone won't do it for free. If you come up to an, I dunno, concept artist and tell them you have a game concept, but you have no team, no build, and no money they'll just laugh at you until you're no longer in their field of vision. I never said this here before lol, but about 6 months ago I actually started to work professionally by getting involved in the indie scene - by putting myself out there, and since then I've talked with all kinds of people, with all kinds of talents. Talking with me about stuff like this isn't really gonna change much. You need to put yourself out there! So, here's my suggestion: Get involved lol. Start collaborating with some folks. Take your own skill set, put it out there, and you might just find people who need it. Once you know (and they know!) you can work in an organized, team-based environment, it's your turn! --Ignis (talk) 19:03, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?!

This is your final warning. STOP IT. Your behavior and actions are unacceptable. If you continue to engage in this behavior, you shall be blocked from the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. — --NinjaSheik 21:18, 6 March 2017 (UTC) |
First of all, please do not contact me on my deviantART account regarding a KHWiki issue between you and Byzantinefire. What you did and the contents of your message was outright inappropriate. If you wish to speak to me, please then do it on the wiki.
You've made it very clear in your PM and openly on the KHWiki that you do not like Byzantinefire, and despite of that, you continue to insert yourself in discussions that has absolutely nothing to do with you and overreact over nearly every little thing Byzantinefire does. And it's not with just Byzantinefire, either. You have butted into other users' conversations before and attacked them. You have been warned in the past by by other users, including myself, for being hostile to other users. In retrospect, many of the confrontations between you and Byzantinefire could have been avoided if you did not insert yourself into his conversations with other users and overreact when he asks other users for favors. But to make this perfectly clear, I'm fully aware that Byzantinefire's behavior was not exemplary, either. I have already issued a warning to him. In spite of numerous warnings and confrontations, Ignis, you and Byzantinefire continue to violate community standards by personally attacking the other. If either of you continue to provoke each other to start fights, both of you will receive blocks for misconduct. This is your third and final warning.--NinjaSheik 21:18, 6 March 2017 (UTC)
