Why do we have this when we have our very own deletion page where we post stuff in need of deletion? I deleted all the articles marked in the category.--NinjaSheik 23:35, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

While I find this easier because you just add the deletion tag, the page can easily remind people because of the watch list. So maybe we should throw this out then. RikutheBloody 162.204.251.55 00:28, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
Any other opinions? I want to make sure everyone's okay with this before doing anything. We've also used the Deletion Page instead of categories, and I didn't even know this existed until I spotted using the random button.--NinjaSheik 04:07, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

This is the first place I would go, rather than the Pages for Deletion. It's quick, easy, and centralized, it doesn't have to be archived, and even if people don't put pages for deletion on that page, for whatever, they're still here, and they'll stay here even if we let them fall into the cracks. Besides, what exactly are you proposing? Because it seems like you're just talking about taking the category out of the template, and if that's the case, why have the template at all? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 04:54, 28 January 2015 (UTC)

Don't know. I've always thought users go the Pages for Deletion if they wanted something deleted. It doesn't even look like this category was used much. In contrast, I would actually go the Pages of Deletion first. I have under my watchlist.--NinjaSheik 00:10, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

It doesn't look like this category is used much because everything has already been deleted, and the category itself doesn't need any work or editing. You can't really tell how often anyone looks at a page, at any rate. In my case, if I see that someone has edited the Pages for Deletion, without even seeing what they wrote, I'll go to the category and see the list of pages. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 01:45, 30 January 2015 (UTC)
