		So, as I suggested here, I would like to expand our podcast to more than a quarterly thing. I think we have a great deal of potential to talk about KH topics, and an hour-ish every three months seems a bit underwhelming, especially considering how in our first episode the whole time was easily eaten up by us talking about KH news updates. (I'm not complaining, but if the news picks up as we approach HD2.5's release, this becomes even more true.) Since we started out with the podcast as a tie-in with the Magazine, I can understand why we might want to keep release schedules together, but I think we could do more. If we want to keep them tied together, the Round Room page could cover all new episodes since the previous issue. Plus, the "issue-bound" episode of the podcast could be on news, while the others could be discussions on KH-related topics, like the Marvel thing Byz keeps bringing up, not to mention one or two topics I have in mind. So, comments?

Although this pertains to people in/editing the podcast... The idea sounds good to me. After all, some podcasts are released every week or month. Did you have an actual release schedule in mind?

"Editing the podcast", who you trying to imply there, huh? But, I'm find with doing more frequent podcasts, it just depends on if theres topics to talk about or not.

		I think finding topics would not be too hard. Even if we have trouble picking a topic ourselves (and I don't think we will), we can always farm it out to readers of the Magazine. :P As for release schedule, I think one or two discussion episodes in between the quarterly news episodes would be reasonable, at least to start. We can see if that needs to change as we go.

I don't think there's a problem with trying to have more than one podcast every quarter. I think the general opposition stems from our doubt on whether you guys can do it more than once a quarter, but if you guys can and want to, go right ahead. I enjoyed the last one, and would love to see one more often. I think it's that we just assume there's a whole lot more work that goes into it than we sound, and we don't want to force you guys to do anything. Again, I personally loved the first one, and I'd love to see another one sooner.

I have an idea. The podcast is no longer published alongside the magazine and has its own time structure so the schedule is completely flexible for you guys. Similar to "KHWiki:Magazine", it'd get its own exclusive "KHWiki:Podcast" page to host the episodes first-hand. Then, the "Round Room" page on the magazine will just link all the new episodes that were released in the last quarter. To keep the "Round Room" page more than a page of links, each magazine issue could include a "special episode" of the podcast. Instead of being full-length, they could be around ten minute featurettes that discuss different topics to what you would normally do. For example, one episode can be quick-fire questions to each of the members asking them questions like "what is your favourite Organization member and why"? Another can be a scripted radio-styled show set in a Kingdom Hearts setting. Hopefully, that can let you guys be more creative with what you want to do (and it's probably less editing for poor UC :P). Does that sound like something you want to do or would you guys rather stick to what you're doing now?

Also, we should invite the Keyhole to ask them their opinions.

"Sure as $#!+" it is. Now, about the special episodes...Sounds good to me. Should the special/additional episode be a problem, another thought: to make it more feasible, and less work for Chaser/the Roundtable crew, you could save three-five minutes somewhere in the podcast-at the end, perhaps?- and do it. I like the idea of separating the Podcast from the Magazine, but maybe put links in the magazine in a certain area when new podcasts are released, they /don't/ have to be in a strict schedule (like one each month or every other month). On topics for discussion, we should stick to the KHWiki, and not expand to the Disney area unless it's involved with KH somehow. I think we could have a certain character or game that is discussed for a period of time during each podcast. We could ask the followers/users on the KHWiki twitter for which character they'd like for us to talk about and have them list some opinions--possibly using a new hashtag with replies. I always try to reply to the "Who said that quote?" on twitter but people beat me to it every time...Darn. If the podcasters agree, they could do a very small radio-show skit roleplay as characters from the series in a certain situation. If anyone's up for brainstorming ideas I'd be glad to come up with ideas on that! ANX 219 02:21, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

Because when you say something is "special", it sounds like more work then to a "regular episode". ಠ_ಠ Also, I'm skimming through this before I go to sleep, so I'll fully read everything tomorrow. In case I haven't been clear in my comments, at Chaser: By all means, none of this is possible without your great contribution. If you do not want to work on any of it, do not feel compelled to do so. What all/how much happens with the podcast is dictated by how much you and the other Roundtable folks are willing to do. No one will fault you guys for doing less. While I do not completely know/understand everything there is to editing this stuff, I do know it requires a lot of time and work. I'd like to add my couple cents to the conversation had today. First of all, and perhaps most importantly, no, the foul language isn't necessary as it was used today. Remember that we're a wiki covering a series made for children as well as us not-as-young fans. Guess who will likely come to the wiki? Children. And while they will undoubtedly hear that language as time goes on, I don't think it's a good image for us to be using that language, especially considering the situation. I mean, seriously, we're talking about a measly topic for the podcast. I realize you guys have other ideas/beliefs concerning the use of foul language, but I don't think this situation merits its use anyways. I tell this to Byz, and now I tell you guys, we're editing a wiki where none of us are getting paid. Our livelihoods aren't at stake here for us to get so darn ticked-off and emotionally-charged. Seriously, I strongly believe the use/implication of a swear word was inappropriate here.

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe the podcast is the place for discussing the DisneyWiki, like, at all. The podcast is a discussion on the Kingdom Hearts series. It should discuss the series, the thoughts of those doing the podcast concerning the series, etc. Maybe even the wiki and recent events on it. We should definitely discuss Disney, but as it relates to the series, and many of the topics Byz posted are good ideas to discuss as they relate to the series (will they show up in the series, would it be a good idea, etc.). But the DisneyWiki isn't a topic up for discussion, in anyway. The DisneyWiki-related issues seem to be more fit for a forum or the Roundtable. Something significantly more formal than the podcast.

I agree with Xion, and I add my voice to hers in repeating these thoughts. I would sure hope you guys (especially you, Chaser) don't feel obligated to do the podcast. It's something we'd love to see, but I personally don't want to pressure you guys to do it if you can't. Like, if it's too much work for you, Chaser, then don't. I'd rather see a podcast every three months than every month and cause Chaser to get sick of the pressur and give up. Then what would we do? So, really, it's up to you guys if you want to do it, you who are doing the podcast. As for how it relates/ties to the Magazine, I think we should do a more news-themed podcast to tie with the Magazine, and then let it all as you wish for the others. Something like having the Magazine-tied episode summarize the news of the last three months, and a discussion of all of the news as a whole. As opposed to the episodes between the magazine releases, which could cover recent news, it wouldn't be all the news since the last magazine. Plus, those special episodes would be more fun and fan-related, as compared to the news-themed episode tied with the magazine. But that's my thoughts on it. Again, the big thing here is whether you want to/can. If you don't want to/can't, than don't, and we'll all be fine with one every three months.
