...look as if she didn't age one bit during here 9-10 years in the realm of darkness? Do people not age in the RoD? I'm just curious.

Well, that's a good question, which might be answered in later installments, but for the mean time, I'm just going to go with the "they decided not to put an extra "aged" model in the game" excuse...

It could be supported by the fact that the Nobodies, beings from the Realm of Darkness (and Nothingness), don't age. It's possible that Aqua, as well as Ansem the Wise, share this quality while there.
