Synopsis

While walking towards the Usual Spot, Roxas continues trying to summon the Keyblade using a Wooden Stick. He gives up and throws it away, accidentally hitting a man in a black cloak. Roxas apologies as the man walks away.

Roxas meets up with his friends, who give him an ice cream bar. The quartet speak of their future, and how they won't be like this forever. Hayner suggests that they all go to the beach that day to create new memories of their friendship. However, they do not have enough munny. Determined to go to the beach, Hayner heads into town and gives everybody a job. Their job is to put up posters around town of the upcoming Struggle Tournament.

DiZ, on the other hand, refuses to allow Roxas and his friends to leave the town. He informs his apprentice over the phone to stop them at all costs, and also not to get too attached to Roxas.

The quartet soon earns enough munny necessary for the trip. Olette hands Roxas the munny pouch, placing him in charge of getting the tickets. The group then hurries towards the station. At the Station Plaza, Roxas trips on a stick. The man in a black coat appears, lifting Roxas up. The man asks if Roxas can feel Sora, and then disappears.

Roxas rejoins his friends in the station, only to find out that he was robbed. Roxas concludes the thief is the man from before. He tries to go after the mysterious man, only to be stopped by his friends, who never saw the man in the first place. The train soon leaves without the group. The group goes to the Clock Tower with some ice cream, with Roxas still lamenting on the loss of the pouch. As everyone watches the sunset, Roxas recalls the words that the black thief spoke, and wonders about Sora.

Back at the computer lab, the apprentice asks about the status of Organization XIII. DiZ states the Organization has been quiet, apparently waiting for his move. Regardless of the Organization's actions, DiZ wants Naminé to work faster. Elsewhere, a girl is shown overlooking a pod. She only says one line: "Sora".

Roxas arrives at the Usual Spot the next morning, finding a note left by Hayner. The note instructs the group to gather at the station, claiming they will go to the beach. At the station, Roxas meets Pence and Olette, who reveal that Hayner got the 5,000 munny from his uncle. Suddenly, time stops, freezing both of them. A girl appears and tells Roxas to head for the Old Mansion if he wants the answers to his questions. Time then unfreezes and Roxas dashes after the girl, confusing Pence and Olette.
