This type of heartless has hard-to-read attack cycle. One moment it's in orb form, flying around Sora's head, the next moment charging up an attack by spewing a homing ball of light from it's mouth. I cannot tell you a specific pattern that it does, but I can tell you what sort of attacks it does, and when they may happen. This heartless accutally only has a few basic attacks, but they are quite powerful, so watch out.

Wing Attack: Unexpectantly enlarges it's wings and thrusts them at you with alarming speed, dealing great damage. When?: This attack ussually happens when it first appears, but only if it's close to you. It may go into an orb state to get closer to you first. Using the equipped ability, Guard, may help if you use it quickly.

Claw Attack: Lashes out with claws, dealing a heavy blow. When?: Sometimes after the Wing Attack, but it may vary. It needs to be very colse to you for this attack, so it's best to use Guard, or simply back off a bit.

Kick Attack: Takes a quick swing with both it's legs at you, dealing small damage. When?: If the heartless did a Wing attack, followed up with a Claw attack, then it probably will use the Kick attack. Once again, Guard or Dodge Roll may be the best solution to getting out of the attack's range.

Spewing Attack: Throwing back its head, it almost seems to gargle a heat-seeking ball of powerful enrgey, causing heavy damage. When?: It ussually does this when up high and just or out of reach. This attack is very persistent, and follows you slowly and itimidates you. It's best to try as hard as you can to hit the heartless before it attacks, as to break the process of making the ball.

Transporting: Not so much as an attack, but more of an unexpected way for it to get closer to you. It silently turns into a ball of blue flame, and dives down towards you, preparing for an attack. Be on your guard if you see one doing this. When?: This happens when it's up high, too far or too high for you to get at it. Best way to deal with it is to simply attack it when it comes out of its state. It is impossible to attack it while it is in its orb form.
