First of all, when starting a new section on a user's talk page or an article talk page, please type only two "=" rather than three between section titles, as three creates a sub-heading rather than a true heading.
Now that that is settled, I'd be more than willing to explain how one goes about categorizing an article or image:
- When creating a new article, type [[Category:INSERT CATEGORY NAME HERE]] at the BOTTOM of the article. Let's say, and this is just an example, you're creating an article on a new Keyblade announced for Kingdom Hearts III. You'd create the article and put [[Category:Kingdom Hearts III Keyblades]] at the bottom when you're done writing the body of the article.
- This applies to images, too. Once you've uploaded an image, click "edit" at the top of the image page and type [[Category:INSERT CATEGORY NAME HERE]] depending on the type of image you've uploaded. For instance, if you upload a screenshot of a cutscene from Kingdom Hearts II, one would place it in "Category:Kingdom Hearts II cutscene images".
I hope this helps. If things still aren't clear, let me know. Honestly, if you're uncertain, it's better to let a more experienced editor take over.
