KrytenKoro - Most bears were content to live their lives, mauling and eating one, maybe two humans at most. "Mass-murder," as the bears always said, "is for the sharks." But not Barry. Barry was different. He knew that one day, he would kill ALL of the humans. This is the inspiring, tear-jerking story of one bear and the dream he dared to dream. TALK -

Okay, so right now our active staff is, in alphabetical order:
- Developer
- Bureaucrats
- Administrators
- DoorToNothing
- KrytenKoro
- Neumannz
- Troisnyxetienne
- Ultima The High Seraph
- Moderators
- EternalNothingnessXIII
- maggosh
- ShardofTruth
- Xion4ever
Obviously, we need to fill some empty spaces, especially due to the audit. Personally, I'd like to get us back up to having a full complement of active staff - fourteen (14), counting all but developer. So, two bureaucrats, eight admins, and four mods. This means we need to elect five new staff members, but also to promote at least two from administrator to bureaucrat.
Based on past discussions, everybody seems to agree that administrators should have prior staff experience, so I think we can all agree to directly promote the current moderators to Administrator - I think we can all agree that they are, invariably, dedicated editors who should have been made admins long ago. With the two bureaucrats being promoted from administrators, this leaves:
- 2 bureaucrats (previously admins)
- 1 administrator (previously editor)
- 4 moderators (previously editors)
I think we can run this like last time:
- We nominate various editors for hiring or promotion. You can place a vote for each empty position, so you have seven votes total.
- The current staff evaluates the top three bureaucrat nominations, top two administrator nominations, and top six moderator nominations, and promotes their selections.
Because of how badly we need staff members to assist with the audit, I'd like this election to go very quickly - it should be over by Monday evening (wiki-midnight of Tuesday). If there are any objections to that plan, please create a discussion section to voice them; however, I think that everyone here knows each other well enough and is active enough that a short turnaround should not be a problem.
So, here we go.
