I agree, that would be best.
I have another thing I want to talk about though: image dimensions. Most all of you may noticed, that there were some uploads of ridiculous large images (1000px-2000px) in the past months, which are made avaible on some sites (I think there are mostly press material). There are two things, that bother me about them:
1. We never use images wider than 400px here (with the exception of the BBS timeline), because the templates and now even the site itself are not suited for bigger images. So there are just resized and therefore the big resolution is useless.
2. The quality of these images is in almost every case very poor, because they are highly compressed jpgs. Which leads to another problem: the cutting from the gray background that is used nearly every time as well. The borders of the images are so blurred it's not 100% possible to get it right, that's why most of the large images look rather horrible if you look at them in their original size. So they are ugly as well.
