Silver, I've noticed that you used non-latinish letters in your signature, right? I was on the IRC today, when DTN came to us about a new sig rule. He just made a form about it.
[19:55] <@DTN> * Clear display of one's username. You may use whatever writing system you want to use provided your user name is written in Latin letters.
[19:55] <@DTN> * Timestamp. Always. I agree wholeheartedly with Bluer in that the timestamp has been neglected, for no reason other than lazyness. It would be compulsory for all users to include a timestamp in their sig. No exceptions.
[19:55] <@DTN> * No images higher than 15px. Taller images disrupt the flow of a conversation and are quite pointless in the end.
[19:55] <@DTN> all sigs should be linked at the very least to the user page.
[19:56] <KKD> I must admit, I'm pretty lazy with the timestamp.
[19:56] <@DTN> I adore timestamps. They make it easy for me to see editing patterns and how long/old discussions are.
[19:57] <@DTN> Keyblade0 = sig only
[19:57] <@DTN> Keyblade0 01:11, December 5, 2010 (UTC) = sig and time
[19:57] <@DTN> 01:11, December 5, 2010 (UTC) = just time
[19:57] <@DTN> So Keyblade0 01:11, December 5, 2010 (UTC) would become necessary.
[19:57] <PhilosopherSDC> What if the user name isn't in english?
[19:57] <@DTN> Wikia's usernames are all in Englihs.
[19:57] <@DTN> English*
[19:58] <KKD> He means latin.
[19:58] <KKD> so a,b,c,d
[19:58] <KKD> etch
[19:58] <KKD> etc
[19:58] <PhilosopherSDC> Oh
[19:58] <@DTN> As long as it is written with Latin characters (ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ), it's fine.
So...You can't use Japenese letters in your signature. I don't want you to get a warning later on. ;)
