TALK - Here's your cat...and here's your $20...03:50, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
Alright guys...thanks for your patience. It will be the 23rd here for another 20 minutes, so this is technically not late. ^_^

And now...our new staff members.

For our two new administrators, please give a big hand to:

We really couldn't argue with you the editors' earlier consensus. Time and again, they've proven themselves hard workers, great leaders, and helpful guides. We couldn't think of anyone more deserving.

And next, our new moderators. A round of applause for:

This, on the other hand, was a lot harder to decide. We had so many individuals who stood out among the nominees. It took a lot of thought and debate, but in the end, we felt these three have best balanced experience and/or dedication to be called to mod duty. It's like jury duty, but with video games and more bickering. ^_^

Congratulations to all our new staff members! As soon as I'm done writing here, we will go update your statuses. If you have any issues, throw Bluer or me a message.

Now...for the other, related announcement: this week, I'm going to open the staff training area suggested earlier in the Help section. What I'm hoping to do is set up a seminar-type thing. Some tips and advice, some case studies, a place for questions...it will probably evolve and change as we receive ideas and suggestions. Please note that the staff training is, of course, open for anyone to peruse, so if you have your eye set on becoming a staff member in the future, it will most likely prove valuable reading. Hopefully, this will help all staff members and future staff members in getting an idea of how to best use their resources to help out.

That is all. I must now go watch footage of a British man threaten another British man with a machete for rear-ending his car. As you were.
