Seriously? All three die in what is a darkly humorous twist on the phrase "car bombing"? Confirmation on that?

I...wait, what?
I don't remember that from the original Disney film... ;_;

I know, that was exactly my reaction! The article says that's what happens, but that just seems too dark for a Kingdom Hearts game too me, and there's no citation. I'm gonna have a hard time believing it unless there's a source.
I can assure you it happens. Watch here starting at 4:00. I don't remember Tremaine being such a bitch in the movie (go ahead and watch the video from the beginning to see that), but it all adds up to some good catharsis. The fairy godmother even gets a cutscene to explain how ridiculously dark the Tremaines are to contrast Cinderella's light.—Urutapu 09:34, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah. Tremaine was sort of a bitch in the film, but mainly the third one. She was actually almost deceptively nice in the first until the end, which the world's storyline is obviously based off of. Then again, they probably stole some of that evil from the third movie (she traps Cinderella in a dark and evil version of the pumpkin carriage, and also trips the Grand Duke to make him drop the slipper) and inserted it into KH. I honestly don't like Square killing a Disney Character (so how come it was okay for the villains who died on-screen? Probably because these particular characters didn't really die, per se), and the screams seem to fade out, referencing they run away...

They all had dark hearts, so it is likely they died being consumed by darkness during the explosion, while they were weakened by it. But this is the Japanese version that we are talking about. We will learn more when more info on the English verson's release date is near.
Ils me trouvent génial, mes mauvais tours les émerveillent, tous les ans c'est le triomphe et la gloire.
From what I see in the video, I'd say there were just kinda thrown away by the explosion.
Um, are we in denial of the subtitles here? "Crushed by darkness". ಠ_ಠ—Urutapu 18:42, February 14, 2010 (UTC)

Wow, I could sort of believe it with Lady Tremaine, but Drizella and Anastasia were more like bitchy henchwomen than really evil (in the film at least), so that's why it surprised me. Thanks for answering that, Urutapu.

Anastasia was only a selfish brat in the first film. Drizella remained evil in all three films. Besides, they had hearts full of darkness in the Japanese version, but who knows what might happen when the game is released in English. They should have been killed anyway.
