Sorceror Nobody's Tips
These are all present elsewhere in the guide, but I've also gathered them all together here for convenience.
Tip #1: Pure Chwnage
Purebloods are excellent for starting chains, because although you get less hearts from an unchained kill, and this doesn't matter for Purebloods. Furthermore, Purebloods typically appear in large groups, so you can chain them to give a more robust chain that has a better chance of remaining active until you can find some Emblem Heartless to fight.
Tip #2: Dropping Like Flies
In the main menu, under Files, you'll find the Enemy Profiles. If you hold A while an enemy is highlighted, it shows the items it can drop. You will notice there are six possibilities for each enemy. My suspicion is that the items dropped are determined by what your rank was at the time of the mission you are carrying out. In other words, until you reached 'Novice' rank, every enemy dropped their first item. In every mission between now and your next rank upgrade you'll get their second item, but previous missions will still give you their first item because of what your rank was when those missions were issued! This might appear to be rather convoluted, but it's actually quite simple once you get your head round it. The following table summarises the rank boundaries:
Rank | Span | Item Drops | |
---|---|---|---|
N/A | Days 008 to 025 | Missions 01 to 14 | Item 1 |
Novice | Days 026 to 100 | Missions 15 to 35 | Item 2 |
Rookie | Days 117 to 171 | Missions 36 to 50 | Item 3 |
Agent | Days 172 to 224 | Missions 51 to 61 | Item 4 |
Expert | Days 225 to 280 | Missions 62 to 72 | Item 5 |
Master | Days 296 to 358 | Missions 73 to 93 | Item 6 |

This table lists everything that you can synthesize at the Moogle Shop. All Item and Magic Panels can be synthesized repeatedly, whereas Ring Panels can only be synthesized if you don't already have one. The currency used for synthesis is Munny. Items and spells that require a recipe are added to the list as soon as you obtain at least one copy of the recipe.

Redeem
This table lists everything that you can obtain at the Moogle Shop by collecting Organization and Crown Sigils. You don't cash the sigils in to trade for the items; you just obtain the items when you have enough sigils. Not all rewards are available initially, so you have to wait until the rewards are unlocked to actually get them, even if you have the requisite number of sigils. The table on the left is for Organization Sigils, and the one on the right is for Crown Sigils.
