Gantu's official title is Captain Gantu in the film's beginning, when Deep Space is thought to take place. I think this page should be redirected to a page under this name. -EternalNothingnessXIII 00:02, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
LotsoBearLover - Welcome to sunnyside! TALK - You've got a playdate with destiny!"
I think we should leave the title the way it is. They use Gantu more often than "captain Gantu"
Eternal Nothingness XIII - You have to be strong. Strength of heart will carry you through the hardest of trials. TALK - What I do, I do for friendship. — 00:05, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
But the world most likely takes place in the film's beginning, when this title is used most often.
It says at the bottom: '...he serves only as Grand Councilwoman...'
Makes no sense.
Eternal Nothingness XIII - I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it. TALK - There's darkness within me... So what does that matter? I know I'm strong enough to hold it back. — 19:54, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
GANTU IS A BOY!!!!! The Grand Councilwoman is female. Read more carefully. There's really nothing wrong w/ the page.
Please be more polite in your scolding, EO. And, Andie, Gantu is a he, and the Grand Councilwoman is a completely different, female character.
Firaga44 - Everyone's favorite anime nerd is back and kicking!Well not everyone's favorite but you people get the idea >.< TALK - All i hear during that cutscene blah blah blah.
well i kinda always saw gantu as a cross between a fish and a shark
I saw you changed the name from Gantu to Capain Gantu, EO. I was looking at the scan, and it called him just Gantu (ガントゥ). And while I can't read kanji, I saw no characters, kanji or otherwise, pertaining to the word captain. I'd like to have a fluent User confirm this before I change it, though.
Eternal Nothingness XIII - The three of us can never be torn apart, all right? I'll always find a way. TALK - When I really need you, Ven, I know you'll be there. — 20:31, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
His official title is "Captain Gantu" in the beginning of the first film, when Deep Space is thought to take place. It's basically the offical Disney title. None of the Admins or mods have complained, so please leave this as-is. One scan cannot speak for countless other sources. And in actuallity, it was DoorToNothing that made this change for me. So long as the admins and mods are ok, which they appear to be, with it, then I wouldn't worry about it.
Fair enough, I won't change the article's name, but I will keep the name in the infobox as "Gantu" as that's the only name given to the character by the Kingdom Hearts franchise as of yet.
