Avatar images are a new feature that allows you to have an avatar, visible at the top of your user and user talk pages. The image can be uploaded straight from your own PC, and does not need to be uploaded like many new editors are doing - my current south park image works like that, and works across wikia. For talk templates, it should be able to work like external images would, though if that's a hassle it would be reasonable to make an exception in that case.
For CoM, we need Template:Heartless to be filled in for all enemies in CoM - see Air Pirate for our (one?) finished example.
For photobucket - (this is copied from my talk page):
- Photobucket is free, and about as easy to create an account on as here. It's not a "free viewing" site like youtube, but pretty much just an online "Pictures" folder for your personal use. It would be pretty much impossible to see anything inappropriate there unless it's already on your PC, and pretty much any content-based objection your parents could have...well, this wiki would be violating it already, so you're in a bit of a sticky situation. If your parents still have objections to photobucket, I would be able to work with editors to try and find a site their parents would accept if they tell me what the specific objections are.
