Hello, welcome to my talk page. Feel free to leave a message here if you have any Wiki-related issue.
While on my talk page, I'd like you to please try your best to follow the following rules:
This page shall not be treated as or become a chat room. if you would like to chat with me or any other user about matters not realted to the wiki, please meet me at our IRC channel.
I happen to like proper grammar and the time stamps in talk templates (~~~~~), so please use them on my talk page.
YEAH, MY ORDERS ARE THAT THEY'RE COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT, AND WHO CARES ABOUT THEM. — 09:30, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
Heh, I wonder what the topic title means. Anyways, just letting you know that:
I'm done looking for all 99 puppies. It turns out some were in new and different locations from the original KH, so I really couldn't depend on our page or the FAQ I used (since some of the locations of the puppies were far from close). xD *might have to take notes on where all 99 puppies now*
I hunted down Jet Balloon, so I put up its entry. Also, the Missile Diver entry is a lie; there's no such thing when I checked my Journal of (near) completeness.
Well, that's all I wanted to let you know. Happy New Year's!

Eternal Nothingness XIII - I'm not afraid of what the darkness holds now. Even if you do wrest control of my heart from me, even if you cast me into the deepest, darkest abyss, you'll never sway me from the one cause that pushes me to keep on fighting. Whatever the cost, I'm ready to pay it. TALK - There's darkness within me... So what does that matter? I know I'm strong enough to hold it back. — 23:15, January 2, 2010 (UTC)
While on the IRC, Azul and I realized that the game navi's aren't such a good idea after all... Please see Forum:Game Navis and place your input. Much appreciated. Thank you very much. Expect a special present for all of your hard work some time this week. It's also the unofficial and early anniversary of our first conversation when our gravelly "friendship" was established. As to what it is, I can't say. Perhaps some cookies and some other second thing could persuade it out of me. In the academic world, ever glance at Animal Farm? It was the easiest read I've had for a school-based assignment, but I don't really get it. Worst part is I have a test on it next week :{
Hi, it's a new user. What happened to the Roxas with a Moogle pompom on his head go, I rather like that one. If your wondering HOW I know this, I saw you a while ago, before Christmas. Didn't bother to make an account then, but, yeah. Why?

I just changed my talk template a few times. Before the holiday season began, I had the Roxas-Moogle. I then switched over to a festive Kingdom Hearts Mobile sprite for the holidays, and have now settled with my customized Yellow Opera. I like to be unique, hence my Roxas-Moogle and Yellow Opera.

Spoiler break, I've had this planned. I was initially elated in our previous conversation today that Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep's spoilers would remain off of the wiki until its North American or European release, but that has since changed. It pains me to go, but there's no other choice for me to remain spoiler-free. --DTN 02:49, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Through the child-like use of covering the actual article's text with my arm, I was able to notice that the Game template was missing. I did the same thing in the editing window. I'm still trying to still do some of my usual editing and image cleanup.

Tigger's Playground
A while ago, the consensus was that as part of the world article cleanup and removal of room pages, we would add short sections on each location to the world page. While this has yet to happen, it still should, and this link is in anticipation of that. It's also the way I formatted all of the Item and Synthesis pages that I've worked on.GloriousCHAOS! 05:22, January 18, 2010 (UTC)

I would assume so, but if the wiki disagrees with that, I would prefer that the Tigger's Playground link be kept, and the one earlier in the lead be blacked.

I was watching the edits too, and that was a pretty harsh, DTN. Werehog didn't seem aware of why the sections were removed and didn't revert them again once ENX gave him the reason. Neither of them edited any one of the articles than twice if I'm not mistaken. Was a warning really necessary?
DoorToNothing — I dreamed last night... I got on the boat to Heaven!
And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 05:14, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, a warning was necessary. Edit warring is a big "do not do"; it has been said time and time again that edit warring is not the way to resolve a conflict; there are at least three other ways to solve the issue: discuss the issue on a talk page, a Forum post, or on the wiki's IRC Channel. I understand that EternalNothingnessXIII is a regular contributor to the wiki, and if an administrator sees it fit, he can ask for it to be removed. However, this is simply one warning. A warning is just a reminder to say "hey, watch it." Now, if a user has three warnings, then it is something more serious. This isn't to say that a warning is to be ignored and considered unimportant, but it certainly shouldn't cause a ruckus and large commotion.
Also, as to my knowledge, an article in which both of the parties involved have reverted the article at least twice is considered edit warring.
LapisScarab - You accept darkness, yet choose to live in the light. So why is it that you loathe us who teeter on the edge of nothing? We who were turned away by both light and dark - never given a choice? TALK - That may be... however, what other choice might we have had?
Not all users would agree with that. I know that I would consider a warning template much more serious than a moderator/admin just telling me on my talk page "hey, watch it". And defining edit warring as "more than two reverts" is ridiculously strict (I'm aware that you didn't set this, assuming that is how it is defined, just giving my opinion on that). The issue resolved itself, and immediately after you gave them the warnings.
DoorToNothing — I dreamed last night... I got on the boat to Heaven!
And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 05:33, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
The edit warring policy is not strictly defined on this wiki, but when it is plainly obvious that two users are reverting each others' edits on one article in succession, than it should be obvious that it is an edit war.
Also, are you aware of the "Three Revert Rule", derived from our model wiki, Wikipedia? The Three Revert Rule states that a user should not revert more than three edits on article on any one day. If they do, then the user is definitely considered to be edit warring. Now, this means that it should be plainly obvious that an edit war is taking place once three edits have been reverted by both parties to all users, particularly due to the word "definitely". Any user has the right to judge when they think the revisions have gone "over the top". I saw this case as one of those, since neither side showed any sign of backing down. EternalNothingnessXIII's final comment even began with an agressive statement. You claim that his reasoning made Werehog21 stop, but you really have no confirmation of that. The reason may just as well have been the warning I placed on his talk page.
It seems that EternalNothingnessXIII has approached BebopKate, asking for the warning to be removed. To make this process as peaceful as possible, I would rather stop our argument and let BebopKate handle the situation. Cococrash11 peacefully asked an administrator for her warning to be removed, and the process went just as she wanted. In model of that, we should just let this situation be resolved by ad administrator, as it has been in the past.
LapisScarab - You accept darkness, yet choose to live in the light. So why is it that you loathe us who teeter on the edge of nothing? We who were turned away by both light and dark - never given a choice? TALK - That may be... however, what other choice might we have had?
So then 1) Our policy is not clearly stated anywhere, and is instead dirived from a different site (not your fault, just an issue that I'll probably bring up elsewhere), and 2) even by Wikipedia's Three Edit Rule, this decision was unfair. You can check Saix's edit history. Each of them reverted the edits only twice. But I digress, you're right, I'll leave it there. I certainly don't want to make an enemy out of you, I just felt the decision was unfair. No hard feelings I hope?

Just as I have said here, the community is bound to have conflicts and disputes. You interpret Wikipedia's "Three Revert Rule" differently than I do, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. We have a very large community on this wiki, we are naturally bound to have more conflicts like this one because of that. We generally follow Wikipedia's example on rules and policy, such as their policy on Assuming good faith. I certainly have no agressive or negative feelings toward you, and you have definitely not made an enemy out of me; after all, debate is a healthy and natural part of being part of a group of unified people working toward a goal.

And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 23:35, February 17, 2010 (UTC)
EternalNothingnessXIII's last edit to the Saïx article was approximately seven minutes before I delivered the warnings to both Werehog21 and EternalNothingnessXIII's talk pages; both warnings were applied at the same time.
TheLunarEclipse - "Then I shall make you see...that I am the cutest thing since the kitten!" TALK - My cuteness is overwhelming!
Hi DTN. Don't get mad at me or anything, I am not questioning your power, but I can't understand why there was a warning involved. It makes no sense because it stopped immediatly after the explaination was given. He is devastated, and I am feeling upset for him, yet confused as to why it was recieved. Not to get on your bad side though.
Nitrous X Talk! — Then I shall make you see...That your hopes are nothing. Nothing but a mere illusion!
Don't I even warrant a hello, Lexaeus?
I feel that ENX did not deserve a warning. That wasn't even close to edit-warring. He undid the edit TWICE and gave a place where the other user could look for an explanation. That does not deserve a warning and it doesn't deserve immature gossip on the IRC. This has gone way overboard. I pray that his warning will be taken away soon. I will go to every single admin about this until I get results. Reverting TWO edits does not deserve a warning.
DoorToNothing — I dreamed last night... I got on the boat to Heaven!
And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 02:34, February 18, 2010 (UTC)
I understand, ZexionTheGamer and Nitrous X, that you feel this action was unjustified and was a bad choice of mine. However, this is not only an issue that has nothing to deal with any of you, but it also is a choice that I already made, and I can't revoke the warning; only an administrator can remove an warning. My best advice to you is to let this play out in its natural, systematic manner. This is already taking place here. I do hope this issue can be immediately resolved, because it is taking away time and attention from myself, EternalNothingnessXIII, BebopKate, and other users who wish to express their opinion, even though the issue does not concern them at all.
Also, Nitrous X, I am completely unaware of any gossiping that took place on the IRC; what I do remember is that I was informing Super Sword-chucks and Maggosh of a recent event on the wiki, and I in no manner was putting down or thrashing EternalNothingnessXIII. Trust me, I have been thrashed plenty of times on the wiki, I wouldn't turn around and bash another user. I respect EternalNothingnessXIII for his contributions to this wiki and the articles that he has started. I gave him the warning because it reflects what I consider to be an edit war, and if it gets revoked, then so be it. Then this whole conflict shall be resolved, and we can get back to editing, the real reason why we should all be here.
Nitrous X Talk! — Then I shall make you see...That your hopes are nothing. Nothing but a mere illusion!
Don't I even warrant a hello, Lexaeus?
It deals with me me because a friend has been punished for no reason. You yourself said that edit-warring is defined as THREE edit reversions, while ENX only made TWO.
In the matter of the IRC: I have seen word-for-word what happened that day on the IRC, through a Sticky Note-type source. There was gossiping, so using different wording to cover it won't work. What you consider to be an edit war isn't even what happened.

And by some chance, I had brought my dice along! — 02:44, February 18, 2010 (UTC)
I myself do not remember defining an edit war before this; now please stop, everyone. I have a life to live, and it doesn't involve getting people's opinions on what I supposedly do wrong. Let enough be enough. This is a wiki, not a debate hall.
Nitrous X Talk! — Then I shall make you see...That your hopes are nothing. Nothing but a mere illusion!

Images
The Aerial Champ looks good, but I'm kind of conflicted about the Mushroom's. Cutting them out removes even the apparent size difference, and makes it look like the same image over and over. Honestly, that article is one of the few places where screenshots work better than CGI images, since they can be used to illustrate the mini-games as well.
We usually put the cleaned images in the infobox anyway, where the wallpaper image currently is. That image keeps the size differences apparent, and is a pretty "cool-looking" infobox image, in my opinion. Might it be better to clean that image, and put the screenshots back?GloriousCHAOS! 22:09, March 28, 2010 (UTC)

"Twilight Thorn" was one of the more difficult merges for me to do with trivia do it being a boss page focusing on strategy; in addition, the Twilight Thorn article doesn't have a "Design" section. Was it not decided a long time ago that design sections for bosses and enemies were redundant, since they do not point out anything that the reader cannot already notice by simply viewing the infobox's image? --DTN 04:13, March 31, 2010 (UTC)

So I find myself unable to come onto the IRC where we could discuss this one-on-one, so please be sure to extract/crop ALL images of Birth by Sleep Keyblades for Terra, Aqua, and Ventus. Ultimania images are obviously better than screenshots. Please see the List of Keyblade wielders page to know exactly what must be done. Separate images should be uploaded for each character as some of the weapons are different, but not in the conjoined user-edited way LegoAlchemist had been doing, as this automatically defeats the image's "officialism," for lack of a better word. Again, thank you for your work. I shall see what I can do about improving the articles themselves, as my next big project is to revise them entirely. - EternalNothingnessXIII 23:00, April 3, 2010 (UTC)

Galleries
You might have noticed that I'm a "fill-in-the-blanks" nut, so I don't actually have a problem with us having the images. How about we try this, then: instead of placing five nearly-identical images on a character's page, we do something like this page - create a gallery page for the articles that need them, and we can place every official image there. That way, the main article stays clean and uncluttered, and we still get a chance to use all these images. If you like this idea, let's start a forum on it.GloriousCHAOS! 13:21, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ha, I got it. The "lc" template makes it so the string had to be lowercase. We're good now. --Neumannz 05:31, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Congrats, DTN! You're going to be an amazing admin and fellow partner in crime. I do miss being here but as soon as summer rolls around and BBS is released, I'll be on here more. - HeartOfOblivion 20:53, April 11, 2010 (UTC)

Congratulations on your achievement, you deserve it for all the hard work that you have put in this wiki to make it the one we see today! Danjam 02:14, April 12, 2010 (UTC)
Heh, I just did that title to get your attention, but what I want to proposition to you is a serious matter.(First time I've ever used that kind of thing on the wiki, actually.) With the recent spike of wikiprincesses that are acting like complete dolts in the IRC channel, my good friend Xion4ever and I have come up with a solution: promoting me to a channel operator. It makes sense, and when other operators aren't around I can help ensure that channel tension doesn't rise. I've proven my worth already in many different occasions:
It has implied that I will be the next user promoted to operator status, many times over
Known for reliability, maturity, etc.
High level of respect among the "regulars" (frequent channel goers)
On always, even when I'm on break
Going along with the previous one, on and active on the channel for extended periods of time on the channel almost daily
Friendly to others, easygoing
Adherence to the rules and ensuring that others are following them
Familiar to the more advanced commands such as bans
Continuing the above one, have assisted other operators with said bans in the past
Since I am usually on, that would mean less temporary ops which may or may not be trusted depending on the situation
et cetera. I could keep going on, but that's enough.
I've also been talking with others about this, and have only gotten positive feedback. As seen in a personal message from SSC:
"asdfjkl; About you being a channel op, I'm all with it."
Also, if there's a clear consensus, we won't have to go into another election. That way, it will be done quickly and be over with. Xion and I even joked around about asking Yuan if she'd do it, though that's off-topic.
..I don't think I have any more to add to this, and I would like your approval before we go onward.

Oh, and one more thing..
Lady Gaga. XD
The issue is not a shortage of channel operators. The issue is that there is an abundance of users who are acting incredibly immature in such ways as flooding the channel with nonsense to the point that it becomes impossible to hold conversation. The IRC Channel was created not just for socialization, but also so that groups or teams of editors can meet there as well. We should not have to be having these meetings, unless if they are extremely private, in other channels because we have users who are ruining the experience for others. Nonetheless, you have proven yourself to be a very mature user on the IRC Channel, and I would no oppose you being given channel operator fuctions. I just do not think that making you a channel operator will solve the problem. --DTN 22:30, April 13, 2010 (UTC)
The issue is not centered around a lack of channel operators, but is a part of it. A reoccuring problem for the current Ops is timing. Naturally an Op can't be on the channel all hours of the day, even with different time zones. However, we can lessen this problem greatly. Saph is found on the IRC most hours of the day. When she isn't, she is logging the channel for various reasons. To continue, Saph is able to get on at her school (which is often as evidenced in #lolkick/#wikia-kingdomhearts logs) which allows an Op to be on the channel in the early (or late, depending on timezone) part of the day. I've joined the channel in the early hours (EST time) to find the channel "Op-less" with a decent amount of regular users on (some of which fit in the immature category). Saph, however, was active in watching/conversing in the channel.
I'm not going to rant how much Saph deserves Op privleges as I believe you are aware of them. However, I will stress to you that adding Saph as an Op will be helpful overall. Outside of maturity and other obvious traits she has shown an interest and desire to help maintain peace and order in the channel numerous times. Although we can never erradicate the problem of immaturity we can increase the degredation process greatly by adding another Op who is on more often than most current Ops are. Judging by the channel's recent actions I do believe adding another Op would help lessen our current situation.--Xion4ever 02:00, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

The Mythril etymology
I just wanted to request an 'etymology' section on the mythril page. It comes from the term coined by J.R.R Tolkien in his "Legendarium." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mithril
Okay, I'm really not understanding this. Why are you removing page links related to other articles? What sense does that make Kaihedgie 18:28, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
But the forms about the character and the like are already within the article as well, so what's the point of making exceptions? Kaihedgie 18:56, May 9, 2010 (UTC)
They still share a history together. They still end up under Ansem's tutelage and become the founding members of Organization XIII. The headline 'See Also' heavily implies of related articles, whether or not they're the same character in a different form, but still tied to the article(s) in question Kaihedgie 02:27, May 10, 2010 (UTC)
This is so not working
Ten minutes have come and gone and still, my messages aren't showing up.
After this edit I'll address the troll issue... maybe you can take a cue from it.
EDIT 04:17, May 11, 2010 (UTC) : Alright, the troll bit. See User talk:BebopKate, first section. Now, I told Hexed about the whole issue, and I'm still keeping him under tight watch (he's also in KHFR and the Sims Wiki, and creating enough havoc there, but we're hesitating for now). I suspect that both of them are the same person, and if they're really the same troll, then I really lost my cool at a troll, which I shouldn't have.
And I'm sure you remember the times I actually went on ALLCAPS to yell at a troll...

Just thought you like to know
Organization 13 - I'd rather we just skip the formalities. TALK - How I love a game!
Hello DTN, just thought you would like to know I found a video on Youtube called "Kh1 Room mod!" (sorry, don't know how to provide link)that has lots of rooms like the Crumbling Island and Disney Castle in Kingdom Hearts 1. Just thought if you would have liked that on their pages.
Thanks for letting me know. My UHL is a different account though. Can you can give me advise on how to prevent over use of roleplay? Go to the IRC channel, #DoorToPancakes(it was random trust me) and you can tell me there.
For simplicity, I've always just directly linked the synthesis material, and set up the redirects to specifically target it. Is there a specific problem with doing it that way?GloriousCHAOS! 19:14, May 22, 2010 (UTC)
It also helps if we decide to rename or merge a page, like we did with the Manifest Illusion and Lost Illusion materials.
I don't understand - why are redirect links frowned upon? They allow you to code the links with simpler formatting, and if you need to correct a target, you only have to do it on the redirect page. It's much the same principle as using a template rather than a hardcoded table or subst.GloriousCHAOS! 19:30, May 22, 2010 (UTC)

"when the world was a simpler place?" — Saxisai 15:06, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
Hello DTN, it's been a while. A while back we had a little dispute about having the tbi's of Vanitas' face featured in my talk bubbles. Now that the game has been released and almost everyone knows about the true identity of Vanitas, may I change the images back to the real faces instead of having him hide behind the mask?

Ok, thanks a lot. And I became inactive because there wasn't much left to edit seeing as the game was released and everyone had mostly updated all of the articles. But anyway, thanks again!
