The Paopu is a yellow fruit that has the shape of a star, from Sora's home world of Destiny Islands.It is said that if 2 people share a Paopu fruit their destinies intertwine forever.Riku is constantly bugging Sora about sharing a fruit with Kairi in Kingdom Hearts. At the start of the game Sora goes in the secret cave and draws a picture of him giving a Paopu fruit to Kairi. In the credit, it is seen that Kairi saw that drawing. As she almost cries she draws a picture of her giving a Paopu fruit to Sora. Sora sees this in the credit of Kingdom Hearts II. Selphie thinks that the story of the fruit is very romantic.
