Okay, I know we will need Icelandic, German, Spanish, and possibly Italian. Any other languages I can Userbox for anyone? Or you can make your own; I borrowed the ones from Wikipedia for mine so far.

And for the record, I think it's pretty cool we have such a diverse group from around the world here. ^_^

Wikipedia uses is for Íslenska, so I'd go with that.

Oddly, I don't know why they don't go with nh or ni for Japanese, since the name of the language in Japanese is "Nihongo". Go figure.

Speaking about Japanese, can anyone like, input the text in Category:User ja, the way I did for Category:User fr ? Think you can do it ? o.O At least there'd be some uniformity.

The only template I really see as applying to the wiki is en-0, as we're an English language wiki. Otherwise, is it really needed to say "I don't speak random language"? The zero templates are kind of useless here; they're better for more "universal" wikis, like Wikipedia.

Well, in that case, I bet we can remove the zero templates, can we not ?

Do we need to distinguish between Brazilian Portuguese (for categories), or does the language work pretty much the same no matter where you are? ^_^

There are some differences between Brazilian Portuguese and Portugal Portuguese,but it's pretty much the same,so it's not really necessary to distinguish,but thanks for asking anyway.

I guess it's pretty much the same as distinguishing between British English and American English, right ? We generally don't distinguish, so it should be okay to just go with "Portuguese".

I figured that was the case; I just remember my cousin's husband (originally from Rio) saying sometimes they could be quite a bit different, but I couldn't remember if it was a just a dialect thing.

As for English, be careful what you say. Maybe we needs us a Southern dialect box now, for us delicate Southern belle types. ^_-

Maybe make a box for fans of Organization XIII for the moment, and then add them if there's enough demand? As much fun and useful as Userboxes are, we're technically still pretty small and I don't want to get carried away with them.

I'll get out my graphics software tonight and see what I can come up with...

ETA: Okay, three new groups added to the userboxes. That'll cover us for a while. ^_^

KrytenKoro - You should have figured out whether bodies age without their hearts, Nomura.

The FF wiki and the DMC wiki have "This user is x element" userboxes. That could do well, and you wouldn't have to like a specific member, either - if you just like Fire, you could use the Axel box anyway. I'll whip up some Order boxes real quick, if it's okay.

Feel free to tweak them, though I think the bust artwork might work better. I know they are available for the CoM members and erm...Saix, Luxord, Xigbar, Xaldin. Are there bust artwork for Xemnas, Roxas, and Xion? Or, we could use edited bust sprites, like we do for the talk templates.

The coloring for Zexion's box is meant for "Shadow", so we might want to switch it with Xemnas', or just use the same for both. Can anyone think of "color's" for Time, Space, Moon, and Illusion?

We can also go the simple route and use cropped close-ups for everyone, like the main characters. If you give me some time tonight after I get back from Kung Fu class, I'll work on some for you. I'll think on colors, too.

Okay, threw together a couple of more to make sure they'll work with the pics. Went with purple for space since it matches Xigbar's weapons, and orange for Time since we probably won't have any orange templates otherwise. For Moon, I would go with a very pale yellow, compared to perhaps a darker gold for Lightning. I like the color you picked for Illusion. ^_^

Did up the userboxes for Marluxia, Saix, Larxene and Xemnas. EDIT: Also did up Roxas, Mickey, Donald, Goofy and User fr-0.

Meanwhile, under the Miscellaneous heading, methinks we forgot something : Twilight Town. Quite a few people are calling themselves Twilight Town residents.

You can get the userboxes to be displayed but not categorized by following the example here.

Also, Template:User Naminé should be copied to Template:User Namine. There's no easy way to type é on a browser, so it's not worth using the correct pronunciation.

Okay, for some reason the categories are still there. Well, at least the page is neater.

Okay, I sound like a broken record for posting so many times here....... But User Valor Form and User Maleficent need some artistic restructuring. I don't know... they just look unsightly.

More often then not, if a color is not showing up that's supposed to, then there are spaces in-between the # and/or the ; and the hex code. Seems to like to do that a lot for some reason if you copy and paste the codes.

I can understand the colour change for spaces in-between the # and the hex code. But what with the semi-colon ? I never saw that problem happening for the infobox templates, or other templates on the Wiki.

Now, I know what some of you are going to say. "Silly BebopKate!" you will say. "Hikari and Simple and Clean are the same song! One's just in Japanese and one is in English! And it's almost the same for Passion/Sanctuary!" And you would think so, right?

Well, let me put it this way; in my many years as an anime/video game fan, I have come across some...interesting people. Some of who are so absolutely convinced that one song is somehow superior to the other just because of a language difference. Some of these people are passionate to the degree they frighten me, especially when I am with them in person and can't escape. So please just indulge me in keeping separate userboxes to keep the scary sub/dub fanpeople away, because I really don't want to have that encounter again. *shudder*

What about the remixes ? PLANITb remixes of Hikari & Simple and Clean, and the ending versions of Sanctuary & Passion ?

Think it would be a good idea if we did what the FFWiki did with the character templates? Like a KH1 Riku could say, for example, "This user's not afraid of the Darkness"... and I think we should eventually have all the characters, including the FF and Disney cameos...

Thing is, I tried pressing one message through for FF cameos, but... no one's replied thus far. But then again, if you're a fan of Riku, for instance, why would you want to segregate the first Riku from the Riku in the latter part of the game ?

I was thinking about the FF characters yesterday, actually. After all, if we have Disney, why not Square? I'll start some tonight...

As for each version of a character, like a KH1 Riku vs a KH2, I think that's getting a little silly. True, the FF wiki has many userboxes, but they're also much larger and have many more sources to pull from than we do. I would like to have some other main Disney characters at some point, but let's keep it reasonable. ^_^

ETA: Okay, went ahead and did Aerith, Leon, and Tifa. I've uploaded icons already for Cloud, Sephiroth, Yuffie, Cid, and Auron if anyone wants to make those. I'll work on the rest of the icons later.

I noticed that one user (User:Xnaminex) was able to create a male userbox using Riku instead of Sora. I was wondering if we could add more choices for the male and female characters, for example:

Male:Riku, Roxas, Axel, Terra, Ven etc. Female:Naminé, Xion, Aqua, etc.

What do you think? This way, users can have more choices.

It's a nice idea, but I think it would be simpler to just have a standard one, as Xiggie said. That box is pretty easy to edit, so it would be pretty easy to put another character in it. If you look at the page edits Xnaminex has made, it's pretty easy to figure out how he did it.

Project CGI/Usericon

Whilst I'm at it, I'd like to ask if anyone can find really good CGI renders of as many characters as possible ? I've done SoRiKa, TVA, Roxas, Namine, DiZ, Xehanort's Heartless, MX and the Genie. Nitrous X has done Vanitas.

I'm aiming it to be such that character userboxes use CGI renders (high quality ones, not jagged ones please !), whilst song userboxes use user icons. As for places, we'll use a snippet of the artwork.

Anyways, this is an update. So far there seems to be CGI screens for Sora, Riku, Namine, DiZ, Xehanort's Hearless, and MX. Right?

Thanks ^_^ Truth be told, I lost the link... I'm trying to do all characters, if possible. I know I got the Genie one from the Days wallpaper, but I'm not sure where to find the rest.

P.S. By CGI I don't mean in-scene, in-engine graphics. I mean non-polygonal ones, with highly polished edges, like the introductory vids and the wallpapers.

I know about CGI images, the Kairi image was just a thought. Genie however.. -_-' I've searched through all my sources and then some and have yet to find a good CGI image of Genie (which there isn't). We'll just have to play with what we have.

Also, the website that had every screenshot of the KH and KH II CGI screens does not work. D= I have the link but it says the url is not found. You might get it to work,however. here.

Finally, specifics are really helpful. Being that Riku has Deep Dive images, KH opening images, etc. But I digress, here's a list of links for overall groups (Deep Dive, etc.)

Sounds good to me. The question is: what image will we use? All the other game accomplishments use the image found on the gamebox/guidebook (excluding DAYS). If we follow that order, would we use these two images for completing Sora's story and Reverse/Rebirth mode then edit accoridingly?
